About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and Â鶹ԭ´´ registered therapist working with adult clients. I am a person-centred and integrative practitioner, drawing on a range of theories and approaches to create a therapy unique to you.

I like to use the image of a journey through an unknown woodland to describe my approach: you choose which path to go down, the speed of the journey and how far to venture. I am your companion on this journey, offering support and encouragement through uncertain or rough terrain, checking in on your resources, and carrying a lamp to guide us through dark patches.

My background is in Higher Education, where I spent 15 years in research, teaching and professional roles. I love experiencing other cultures and languages, and have lived and worked in the UK, Germany and China. Inclusivity and curiosity are values at the heart of my practice: whatever the similarities or differences between us might be, I look forward to welcoming and exploring them in our work together.
