About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and accredited Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapist (MA) with over 25 years’ clinical experience working therapeutically with individuals, couples and families of all ages, both within the NHS & through my private practice, Oxford Family Therapy.
I support those facing challenges in relationships, such as communication, sex and intimacy, infidelity & trust, parenting & life transitions, or relational trauma, separation or bereavement. I also work with those wishing to develop a deeper sense of loving connection, intimacy & closeness with the important people in their lives.
Keen to embrace gender, sexuality & relationship diversity, I work with couples & families of all kinds. My practice is strengths & resilience orientated, collaborative, and underpinned by the latest evidence-based principles. I am fully insured to provide a worldwide online service.
Alongside my independent practice, as UKCP Media Spokesperson, I am frequently invited to contribute to the national & international media, including the Guardian, Telegraph & Independent, providing expert opinion on a range of relational & psychosexual issues.
I also support the work of the domestic abuse charity Clean Slate & social justice charity Support Through Court.

Practice description
Within the NHS, my experience spans community and inpatient mental health contexts. Alongside clinical work, I have been involved in service development, leadership, training, supervision, consultation to allied professionals, and developed graduate and postgraduate training as a guest Specialist Clinical Lecturer.
As an independent psychotherapist, I initially worked with the Oxford Priory Wellbeing Centre before founding my own private relational psychotherapy practice which expanded rapidly, and now offers a range of remote services accessible worldwide.
