About me and my therapy practice
No one wants to feel like they’re just getting by in their relationship. You might miss how things used to be between you. Maybe you feel distant, even when you’re together. Conversations may have become tense, shallow, or purely practical. Arguments might keep circling back to the same unresolved issues. Or perhaps you’re navigating betrayal, sexual difficulties, ongoing conflict, major life changes, or growing differences in values. Whatever you're facing, we can work together to make sense of it.
I’m a specialised Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, working from a Gestalt perspective, an approach that begins with awareness. In our work, we’ll explore what gets in the way of feeling connected or at ease, and begin to shift the patterns that keep repeating in your relationships. My style is warm, direct, non-judgemental and challenging.
You’re welcome to see me as a couple or on your own. I aim to offer a space where you feel seen and accepted as you are. I work collaboratively to support meaningful and lasting change.
Practice description
I have worked in both the NHS and private sector, providing Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy for individuals and couples dealing with issues related to conflict, sexuality, trauma, sexual dysfunction, abuse, addiction, kink, and identity.
I see everything we do as having made sense in the context it was shaped. That includes coping strategies and relational dynamics that may no longer serve you, but once helped you feel safe or in control. Therapy can support new awareness to emerge, helping you feel more choiceful in how you relate to others and to yourself.
I currently practise at Kensington Counselling Rooms and The Awareness Centre. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy from Middlesex University, and a Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’m a registered member of both COSRT and Â鶹Դ´.
If anything here resonates, feel free to reach out for a 20-minute video call, without fee. It’s a chance for us to connect and see whether working together feels right.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see whether it feels like a good fit to work together. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of what’s bringing you to therapy now, and you’ll have space to speak about anything that feels important to share. You’re welcome to ask questions about how I work or about the therapy process in general.
My intention is to offer a space where you feel supported and respected, so that over time, we can explore what matters to you most.
