About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel like something needs to change for you?. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, anxious, struggling with low mood, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you’re going through, and find a way forward that truly fits you.
I’m an online therapist working via Zoom or Teams, so you can access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home — no travel, no waiting rooms, no added pressure.
My approach blends the practical, goal-focused tools of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a warm, humanistic foundation that prioritises empathy, trust, and collaboration. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you and work towards meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right.
Practice description
Every person is different, so our work together will reflect your needs:
• Some people prefer a structured plan with clear goals and CBT techniques.
• Others need a space to talk, reflect, and understand themselves more deeply.
• Many clients benefit from a blend of both.
I’ll never push an approach that doesn’t fit. Everything I offer is something I believe in, have used, and know can genuinely help.
My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can feel heard, supported, and understood — whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-doubt, loss, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life.
My first session
Our first session is an assessment session, which lasts around 60 minutes. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and decide whether we would like to continue to work together towards achieving your therapeutic goals.
During this session:
• I’ll ask some questions to get a clearer picture of your background, current situation, and what you’d like to gain from therapy.
• You’ll also have the opportunity to ask me any questions about how I work and what therapy with me might look like.
• Together, we’ll discuss your goals and consider the best way forward, whether that involves structured CBT techniques, open exploration, or a blend of both.
The first session costs £30, and there’s no obligation to continue afterwards. If you decide you’d like to keep working together, ongoing sessions are £40 each.
My aim is for you to leave the first session with a clear sense of what I can offer, how I work, and whether it feels right for you.
