About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified Person‑Centred counsellor, I offer online and telephone sessions at flexible times to fit around your lifestyle.

Clients can expect a safe, calm, and non‑judgemental space where thoughts and feelings can be explored at a pace that feels right for them.

My experience includes supporting people through a wide range of challenges, such as low self‑esteem, depression, anxiety, stress, loss and bereavement, burnout, the impact of domestic abuse, and relationship difficulties.

My core qualifications include:

MSc Psychology (Conversion) – University of Central Lancashire

Level 2 Certificate in Counselling – Preston College

Level 3 Certificate in Counselling – Preston College

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Runshaw College

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health - Harlow College

Level 1 Personality Disorder in Mind - NHS Greater Manchester Mental Health Service

In addition to my counselling training, I am also a qualified teacher and currently work as a school counsellor, supporting young people within an educational setting.

Practice description

I work in a non‑directive way, which means I won’t tell you what you should talk about or where to start. You are free to share whatever feels comfortable for you, in your own time. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure how to begin, I will support you gently, helping you find your own starting point without pressure or expectation. My aim is to ensure you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted exactly as you are.

My first session

The first 30‑minute telephone session is offered free of charge. This gives you space to share any expectations, doubts, or worries you may have. It’s also an opportunity to tell me a little about yourself and to ask any questions about how I work, so you can get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you.

I primarily offer telephone/online sessions however face-to-face appointments are also possible (room hire fee will be added).
