About me and my therapy practice
Choosing the right counsellor can be overwhelming. I try my best to work with you as an individual in an open and accepting way so that you have the space to explore your thoughts and feelings freely without judgement. I have experience working in a range of mental health settings and providing 1:1 support to folk from a whole range of different life paths. What's important is that we can work together effectively so that you can gain understanding on how to lead a more meaningful and authentic existence for yourself.
Practice description
I am trained in humanistic-existential therapy, which means I focus on understanding you as a unique individual and support you in fostering greater meaning in your life. I use a variety of techniques and strategies to help you to do this which I have gained from my experience and other training.
My first session
I ask clients to complete a few forms prior to our first session. During the first session, we will talk about what brings you to counselling, and set some boundaries and expectations for how we will work together and what you would like to achieve during our time.
