I currently have space for new clients and offer both online sessions across the UK and in-person therapy in Poole, Dorset.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where healing unfolds at your pace. As a humanistic integrative therapist, I draw on elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and creative approaches. Where appropriate, I may incorporate gentle therapeutic play-based methods to support emotional exploration, regulation, and self-awareness.

I have experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including through a low-cost counselling service and a charity supporting survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence. I also offer culturally sensitive therapy for international students, young adults, and individuals navigating identity, belonging, and intergenerational experiences.

Having moved to the UK as a teenager from Hong Kong, I understand the complexities of cultural transition, emotional displacement, and the search for belonging. I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity-related concerns, and other emotional challenges, with careful attention to how culture, language, and personal history shape our inner world.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and client-led, allowing you to feel in control of your pace. I’m here to walk beside you, not to rush toward solutions, but to support you in finding clarity, confidence, and resilience in your own time.

Whether you’re navigating life changes, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or questions around cultural identity, I offer support with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. For those who find it difficult to put feelings into words, I integrate body-based awareness and creative tools to support expression and healing.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and offer a therapy space that is inclusive, affirming, and culturally aware. Your story matters, and it will be met with compassion and care.

My first session

The first session is a gentle space for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything right away, therapy is a gradual process that unfolds in your own time.

We’ll begin to explore your story together, building a shared understanding and identifying areas we may focus on. This session is about helping you feel safe, heard, and supported, and about seeing whether working together feels like a good fit for you.
