About me and my therapy practice
We each come into the world knowing ourselves — who we are, how we feel, what we desire. Somewhere along the way, that knowing gets harder to hear.
In the rush and noise of everyday life, with so many voices telling us who to be, what to feel, the rights and wrongs, we start to lose touch with ourselves. Our own voice grows quiet.
Person-centred therapy is a space to come back to yourself.
My approach is quite unstructured, non-directive and insight-oriented. Hence, I don’t diagnose or offer advice, quick fixes or solutions. I believe everyone already carries the answers they’re looking for — my role is to facilitate a space where you can hear them more clearly.
Practice description
I work with deep understanding, honesty, and genuine acceptance, meeting you exactly where you are — without judgement. It's a space to slow down together, to explore your experiences, your patterns, and the things that matter most to you — so that you can move forward with a deeper understanding and trust in your own voice.
I recognise that we don't come to therapy in a vacuum. We each carry the weight of the world we were born into — its privileges and its disadvantages. As an able-bodied, cisgender, heterosexual, and neurotypical woman, I hold real privilege, and I don't take that lightly. As a woman of colour, I also know firsthand what it means to navigate the challenges of race and gender. I bring an anti-oppressive lens to my practice, and I warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life.
My Qualifications and Experience
I'm a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´ and hold an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy. Over the years, I've had the privilege of sitting with people through some of life's most difficult experiences — depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, domestic abuse, and more. I've worked with adults of all ages and backgrounds, including survivors of sexual violence, refugees and asylum seekers, and people bereaved by suicide. What I bring to every session is a genuine commitment to being present with you, wherever you are.
