About me and my therapy practice
Many of the people I work with have spent years focusing on everyone else. They have become experts at managing other people's emotions, anticipating other people's needs, and keeping everything together on the outside, whilst feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves on the inside.
My role is to offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we can explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be affecting how you feel about yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw upon Person-Centred Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Transactional Analysis. This allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model or way of working.
I believe that meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship. Whether you are looking to understand the impact of past experiences, process difficult emotions, strengthen boundaries, or reconnect with your sense of self, therapy can provide a space to explore this safely and at your own pace.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Therapy is not about being told what to do; it is about creating the conditions for greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and lasting change.
Practice description
You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, people-pleasing, low self-worth, difficult relationships, or the lasting impact of emotional abuse, neglect, or a controlling relationship. You might feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, repeating the same relationship dynamics, or carrying a harsh inner critic that never seems to switch off.
These experiences can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and unsure of where to turn.
Therapy offers a space where you do not have to carry everything alone. A space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences, understand how the past may be affecting the present, and explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.
I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and offer both online and face-to-face counselling. Whether you are navigating a specific difficulty or simply feel that something isn't quite right, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, build emotional resilience, develop healthier boundaries, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can begin wherever you are.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 20-minute video call so we can get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit for one another. Finding the right therapist is important, and this gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and see how it feels to connect.
If we decide to work together, we’ll arrange our first session from there. I don’t work to a fixed number of sessions, as I believe therapy is a collaborative and individual process. We’ll regularly check in together about your experience and your progress, making sure the work feels supportive and that we’re moving in a direction that feels right for you.
My fee is £60 for online sessions and £70 for face-to-face sessions.
