About me and my therapy practice
I offer individual therapy, available face-to-face and online, with options for both long-term, in-depth work and short-term, focused sessions. I have gained valuable experience working within a charity setting, where I supported individuals facing complex challenges often involving significant life transitions, loss, and trauma, and a college setting, providing support navigating academic stress, trauma and mental health concerns. These experiences have equipped me to work effectively with clients from various backgrounds and age groups.
I offer reliability, honesty and integrity to help you access your most complex challenges. I strive to help us both understand your world exactly as you experience it, providing a consistent space that contains overwhelming emotions, thoughts and behaviours allowing you to process them safely and understand what is not working for you. I do not shy away from difficulty. Instead, I partner with you to navigate aspects of your life with compassion, offering thoughtful challenge when needed to facilitate growth.
Practice description
A strong working relationship between counsellor and client plays an important role in effective therapy, which is why finding someone who feels right for you matters. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to give you the opportunity to ask questions and see whether working together feels like a good fit. If you decide you’d like to go ahead, we can then arrange an initial consultation.
My first session
Sessions take place face to face in a private, confidential room near Stockbridge, Hampshire. Full location details will be provided once a session has been arranged.
After our 20-minute phone consultation, if you decide you would like to work together, our first session will be an initial assessment. This is an opportunity for us to explore what brings you to counselling, discuss what you hope to gain from the process, and consider how we might work together going forward.
