About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified Â鶹ԭ´´ registered counsellor, I care about offering a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to speak openly about what is happening in your life. I work with curiosity, empathy, and non judgement, and follow the Â鶹ԭ´´ ethical framework to ensure confidentiality and integrity in our work together.

I offer individual, face-to-face therapy, either longer term for deeper exploration or shorter term for more focused support, combining Humanistic and Transactional Analysis approaches. My experience in charity and college settings has involved supporting people through trauma, loss, life transitions, academic stress, and mental health challenges, and I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and ages.

In therapy, I aim to meet you where you are and to understand your world as you experience it. I do not shy away from difficult feelings; instead, I stay alongside you as we make sense of them together. I offer steadiness, compassion, and gentle challenge when it supports your growth and helps you move towards what feels more authentic and manageable.

Practice description

A strong working relationship between counsellor and client plays an important role in effective therapy, which is why finding someone who feels right for you matters. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to give you the opportunity to ask questions and see whether working together feels like a good fit. If you decide you’d like to go ahead, we can then arrange an initial consultation.

My first session

Sessions take place face to face in a private, confidential room near Stockbridge, Hampshire. Full location details will be provided once a session has been arranged.

After our 20-minute phone consultation, if you decide you would like to work together, our first session will be an initial assessment. This is an opportunity for us to explore what brings you to counselling, discuss what you hope to gain from the process, and consider how we might work together going forward.
