About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Jennifer Legg (MÂ鶹ԭ´´), a qualified counsellor offering a compassionate and understanding space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace.

My practice is rooted in a person-centred approach, meaning I believe you are the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences and support your personal growth.

I work with adults and have advanced specialisation in counselling children, offering age-appropriate and creative ways to help younger clients feel safe and understood. I support people with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, addiction, and grief.

I provide a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. My role is to listen deeply, to understand, and to support you in finding your own answers.

Each session is guided by what you bring — we go at your pace, exploring feelings, patterns, and possibilities. My aim is to help you feel more connected to yourself, to build resilience, and to find ways of living that feel more balanced and authentic.

Whether you’re coming to counselling for the first time or returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely supportive.

Practice description

I offer counselling online, or from my office space in Maiden Newton and Broadwindsor . I also offerwalk-and-talk sessions for those who find being outdoors supportive and grounding.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute introductory session, giving us the opportunity to meet, talk about what brings you to counselling, and discuss what you’d like to get from the sessions. It’s a relaxed and informal space for you to ask questions and see how we might work together before making any commitment.
