About me and my therapy practice
**Online/Remote Only**
Hello, I am Hasan and I am here to help you create the change you are looking for.
I know how daunting it can be to reach out for therapy. I have been there myself, searching for the right support. That is why I have made it my mission to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and empowering from the very first conversation.
How We Work Together:
My approach blends warmth and compassion with honesty and empathetic real-talk when you need it. I am trained in Transactional Analysis as my primary modality, which helps us to explore the patterns, relationships, and the choices that you make, empowering you to create meaningful change. I believe the therapeutic relationship is where real change happens. I am genuinely excited to hear about your experiences and deeply invested in witnessing the positive shifts you make in your life.
I work with people navigating stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, discrimination, and identity questions around culture, race, and sexuality. Together, we will unpack what is weighing on you, discover what you truly want, and build the confidence to achieve it.
I bring creative tools into our sessions such as gemstones, colours, drawings, and meditations, these are to help deepen reflection and make therapy feel more personal to you. These are available should you wish to use creative tools in your sessions with me.
Specialism the Deaf Community:
With 12 years as a sign language interpreter and Level 6 British Sign Language proficiency, I provide fully accessible therapy for D/deaf individuals and those with hearing loss.
How to Get Started:
I offer in-person sessions in Bexleyheath and online therapy throughout the UK. Sessions are typically 50 minutes weekly, but I am flexible and happy to adjust to your needs, where possible.
You have already taken the hardest step by getting this far. Let us take the next one together.
Send me a message today, and we will get you set up with a session that works for you.
Practice description
I run a friendly and inclusive practice in South East London and online.
The foundation of my training is in Transactional Analysis, but I draw on a range of theoretical models and techniques to tailor my approach to each individual. My focus is on addressing your unique challenges while supporting your holistic well-being.
Transactional Analysis (TA) is a psychological theory and method of therapy that explores interactions (transactions) between individuals to understand behaviour and communication. An element of this focuses on is the three ego states—Parent, Adult, and Child—to promote self-awareness and personal growth.
I have extensive experience working with the D/deaf community, both as a therapist and as an interpreter. I’m passionate about creating a safe, accessible space where language is never a barrier to connection or healing.
As a gay man from a Muslim cultural background, I also work extensively with people from LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse communities. I find that shared experience and cultural understanding can allow for a deeper connection and greater trust from the outset.
My first session
Not sure if we are the right fit? I offer a free 15-minute consultation, no pressure, just a chance to explore what is bringing you to therapy and see if we click.
After that, you’ll receive an assessment form and a counselling agreement, which we’ll go through together during our first session.
What I can help with
Abuse, AIDS/HIV, Anxiety, Bereavement, Body/somatic therapy, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Identity issues, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Neurodiversity, OCD, Personal development, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Sensory impairment, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Vegan allied, Women's issues, Work related issues
