Availability

I currently have online and telephone availability. I will be taking some weekends off during the summer months. My availability during the week is flexible for daytime and evening sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy is a big step. If you're here, you've likely been carrying a lot on your own for a while. Perhaps you're tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, or second-guessing every decision. Maybe life just feels a bit鈥 much.

My role is to walk alongside you. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, make sense of what's going on, and reconnect with your own voice.

As a person-centred counsellor, I won't tell you what to do or offer quick fixes. Instead, I'll meet you exactly where you are鈥攚ith honesty, curiosity, and compassion. You don't need to bring the 'right' words or have a clear plan; we'll figure it out together.

You might be navigating:

Anxiety or burnout

Low self-worth or inner criticism

Big life changes or decision-making

Late-diagnosed neurodivergence

Feelings of being stuck, lost, or disconnected

I particularly connect with individuals who feel like they're 'too much' or 'not enough.' If you're used to masking, holding it all together, or being the one everyone leans on, therapy can be your dedicated space to finally let some of that go.

Sessions are currently held online or over the phone, allowing you to show up as you are from the comfort and confidentiality of your own space.

If you're unsure where to start, that's completely okay. Therapy isn't about performing or getting it 'right.' It's simply a space to just be - messy bits and all.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work before making any decisions. There's no pressure, just a relaxed conversation.

Check out my website for some more information: mindvistasupport.com

Practice description

I support adults navigating life's complexities - from work stress and identity shifts to low self-esteem, or the quiet weight of trying to hold it all together. Many of the people I work with are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, LGBTQ+ or have spent years people-pleasing and masking their true selves.

As a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ therapist myself, I deeply understand the fatigue of feeling like you constantly need to explain or dim your light. You won't need to do that here.

My approach is person-centred counselling, meaning you won't find advice-giving, pressure to share before you're ready, or quick fixes. Instead, I offer a space built on non-judgmental listening and genuine support. This is where you can untangle your thoughts, reconnect with who you are, and begin to breathe a little easier.

You don't need a perfectly clear reason to start therapy, nor do you need to have everything figured out. Just show up as you are, and we'll explore it together.

Clients often describe our work as supportive, validating, and a safe space.

Sessions are held online or over the phone, allowing you to attend from the comfort of your own environment. This means no commuting, no waiting rooms, and yes, you're welcome to bring your tea, your blanket, or even your pet.

If you're seeking therapy that feels affirming, gently held, and genuinely tailored to your unique needs, I'd welcome you to get in touch.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute consultation before any commitments. This is a relaxed, no-pressure chat where you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if therapy with me feels like the right fit for you.

Should you decide to move forward, sessions are 60 minutes and held online or over the phone.

In our first full session, there's no need to come with a script or have everything figured out. We'll gently explore what's brought you here and what kind of support you're seeking, moving entirely at your pace. There's absolutely no expectation to share everything at once; taking your time is perfectly okay. I'll also explain my approach to therapy, discuss important details like confidentiality and cancellations, and outline how we'll ensure our space remains safe and supportive for you.

There's no formal assessment or extensive paperwork required beforehand, though I will ask for some basic contact and emergency information once you're booked in.

I believe therapy should be accessible, which is why I offer a sliding scale fee for those who might find the full fee a barrier. Life isn't always financially steady, and I want to acknowledge that. If this is something you'd like to discuss, please just send me a message and we can work something out that feels manageable for you.

However you choose to show up, whether quiet, unsure, overwhelmed, or hopeful... I'll meet you right there.

About me and my therapy practice

Looking for counselling that actually feels human? You鈥檙e in the right place.

I鈥檓 a person-centred counsellor offering online therapy for adults. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, my role is to walk alongside you, offering a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever鈥檚 coming up for you.

Whether you鈥檙e navigating stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, big life changes, or just figuring out who you are in a very noisy world, our work will move at your pace. There鈥檚 no 鈥渞ight鈥 way to do therapy here. I鈥檒l meet you exactly where you are ,  whether you need a space to talk things through, tools to manage overwhelm, or a chance to reconnect with yourself without pressure.

My approach is relaxed, collaborative, and flexible. We might laugh, we might sit with some tough stuff, we might untangle the noise, but it鈥檚 always rooted in compassion and authenticity. I have lived experience of neurodivergence and being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, so you won鈥檛 need to explain or justify parts of your identity here. You鈥檒l be seen and supported exactly as you are.

All sessions are held online, meaning you can access therapy from wherever you feel safest as long as it is confidential. Whatever you鈥檙e experiencing, I鈥檓 here to help you feel a little more like yourself again.

If you鈥檙e ready to start, or even if you鈥檙e just curious, I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can see if it feels like a good fit.

Practice description

My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel approachable, human, and flexible - not clinical or intimidating. You won鈥檛 find judgement here. You鈥檒l find real conversations, genuine connection, and a space where you can bring whatever鈥檚 on your mind.

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you. Some sessions might feel like sorting through the chaos with a bit of structure; others might just be about sitting with whatever you鈥檙e carrying that day. Both are valid. Both are welcome. Whether you need to unpack anxiety, explore your identity, navigate burnout, or simply have a space to be heard without expectations, I鈥檒l meet you where you are.

Sessions are held remotely via secure online platforms.

I also believe therapy should be accessible, which is why I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments, as well as a sliding scale for fees where needed.

This is your space to slow down, untangle your thoughts, build confidence, and reconnect with yourself, without judgement, without pressure, and without needing to have it all figured out.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for you.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work, ask any questions, and decide if it feels like a good fit - no pressure, no obligation.

In our first full session, we鈥檒l move at your pace. It鈥檚 a space for you to share what鈥檚 brought you here (if you want to) and for us to start building a foundation of trust. There鈥檚 no need to prepare anything or know exactly what you want to work on. Some people come with a clear goal, others just know they need support - either is completely okay.

We鈥檒l also go over a few practical things like confidentiality, session structure, and how we鈥檒l work together. I don鈥檛 use formal assessments in the first session - it鈥檚 more about meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe and supportive from the start.

Sessions are online, meaning you can join from wherever feels most comfortable for you, as long as it鈥檚 a private and confidential space.

If you have any worries or questions before or after the first session, you鈥檙e always welcome to reach out - this process is yours, and I鈥檓 here to support you in whatever way feels right.
