About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Zaharin. You may call me Zah.
I understand that reaching out for help can be a big step, and I am here to offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore what is on your mind. You might be feeling overwhelmed, struggling with a sense of loss, or finding it difficult to cope with daily worries and pressures. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to face it alone.
My journey to becoming a counsellor was deeply personal. After working as a mental health first-aider, my own experience of grieving for my mother solidified my desire to support others through their difficult times. I believe that personal transformation is possible, and I am here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
Practice description
In our sessions, my priority is to understand your unique situation and feelings. I will not use a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I will draw on a range of methods to help you express yourself and find your own solutions. If you find it hard to talk, we can explore other creative ways to communicate, such as through art, songs, or writing.
I can help with a wide range of issues, including:
- Feeling lost or overwhelmed by grief and bereavement
- Managing constant worries, panic, and anxiety
- Coping with stress and pressures at work
- Navigating relationship difficulties
- Navigating new relationships
- Dealing with anger and finding constructive ways to express it
- Building self-confidence and a stronger sense of self
Ultimately, our work together will be focused on helping you to feel better, whether that means finding peace, regaining control, or simply understanding yourself more clearly.
My first session
I offer a free initial session, which is a great opportunity for us to see if we are a good fit for each other, without any obligation.
This is done via a telephone call or video (I can send a client video link)
