About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, my name is Alice and I am an Integrative Humanistic Therapist, working from a person centred, client focused, gestalt and existential approach. What does that actually mean? We will work in the here and now, looking at what is going on for you in this moment. The client comes first always, and I hope to enable you to create a happier more meaningful life.
I work in person and online, short term and long term, and I offer 6 sessions of lower cost therapy online. I believe that therapy should be accessible to all and we shouldn’t take a long time to be seen so I keep two online blocks at a lower cost. I work within the Âé¶¹Ô´´ guidelines and your safety and well being is my priority.

I am an Integrative Humanistic Therapist specialising in Grief and Loss. When we hear those words we often assume that means losing a loved one but it means so much more. We all carry losses, from micro losses to life changing losses and all deserve our attention.

Its never too late to talk. Alot of us have spent a lifetime pushing away difficult feelings and its painful and takes alot of courage to open up and talk about them, but I hope to provide you with a safe place to do so. I believe that therapy is about the relationship between client and therapist and where appropriate I will offer tools alongside talking therapy that may help you on your journey to a happier more fulfilling life. We do not 'fix' grief but we tend to it in a gentle and safe way.

How do I work?
What does Integrative Humanistic Therapy actually mean? I draw from Person Centred, Existential and Gestalt modalities to tailor your therapy to suit you. We will work in the here and now, looking at what is going on for you in this moment. The client comes first always, and I hope to enable you to create a happier more meaningful life.
I have an interest in Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation, Breathwork, Conciousness, Neuro Science and Spirituality. I believe in the healing power of Nature and use this with Ecotherapy. I may draw on these alongside talking therapy
My first session
We will have a free 20 minute consultation to check that we are a good fit to work together. I will ask you to fill in an assessment form so that we are clear of what your needs are
In our first meeting we will explore your goals, what you would like from therapy. Don’t worry though, sometimes, we just want to talk, a goal may become clearer as sessions progress.
