About me and my therapy practice
For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals on their journey from suffering to self-discovery and healing. My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, enriched with mindfulness and emotional awareness. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to creating a space that is safe, empathic, supportive and empowering — a space where you can speak freely, feel heard, and begin to reconnect with your inner strength.
I specialise in helping people find freedom from a wide range of life challenges, including addiction, self-harm, low self-esteem, dysfunctional relationships, unhelpful habits, overwhelming anger, despair and unresolved grief. These experiences often come with a deep sense of pain and isolation — but you do not have to face them alone.
My therapeutic style is compassionate yet gently challenging, aimed at helping you gain clarity and confidence. While some of my clients benefit from ongoing therapy, the majority come to me seeking focused, short-term support. I offer practical tools, learning strategies, and personalised action plans to help you build resilience, self-understanding, and long-term self-management skills.
Whether you’re at a crossroads, feeling emotionally stuck, or simply want to make meaningful change, I am here to support you with warmth, respect, and commitment. My aim is to help you move from surviving to thriving — at a pace and in a way that feels right for you.
Practice description
I offer flexible and accessible therapy sessions, with the option of online remote appointments or home visits where appropriate. Each session typically lasts 50 minutes, although shorter, focused sessions are also available for action-based support or wellbeing check-ins.
My approach is tailored to meet your unique needs. For those looking to work through specific challenges with structure and focus, I recommend a block of six sessions as part of a results-based programme. For others seeking deeper, ongoing emotional support and exploration, I offer open-ended therapy at your own pace.
I believe therapy should be as inclusive and supportive as possible. I offer concessionary rates and take personal circumstances into account, ensuring that support remains accessible regardless of financial situation.
