About me and my therapy practice
Together, we can work on making sense of what you are going through and find better ways of coping, being and relating. You may feel anxious or depressed or perhaps you find maintaining relationships difficult — or it may be something else altogether. Practice description
Talking to a therapist can help identify feelings, thoughts and underlying patterns which in turn can be the starting point for meaningful change. I will not tell you what to do as I respect each person’s agency and choice but I will do my best to help you move forward.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, anger, work-related problems, relationship difficulties and questions around identity and belonging. I also have experience working with bereavement, grief and existential questions about life, death and meaning.
Our work together can be short-term (8-10 sessions) or as long as it feels helpful. I offer weekly sessions which last 50 minutes. My practice is at Farringdon or online and I currently have availability on Tuesdays. I offer a free initial 20-minute phone call to explore what brings you to therapy and what your hopes are. It is okay not to have a clear idea.

My first session
In the first session, we will talk about your main concerns, your current situation and past experiences. We will do an assessment to explore these issues. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask me about therapy and for us to explore your feelings about being in therapy. The first session is 60 minutes but subsequent sessions will be 50 minutes. The fee for the first session is the same as for subsequent sessions.
