About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Existential Psychotherapist offering a reflective and supportive space where we can explore who you are, what matters to you, and how you make sense of the world – especially in times of difficulty or change. While my practice is grounded in existential and relational approaches, I also draw from other therapeutic disciplines where these may be helpful, depending on your needs and what you bring to therapy.

Existential therapy recognises that uncertainty, anxiety and difficulty are inevitable parts of being human. It invites us to stay present with life’s tensions – the choices, dilemmas and ambiguities that are often overlooked or avoided. In therapy, we can reflect on how your current challenges may reflect deeper patterns – in relationships, in how you have come to navigate life, or in your search for meaning.

Practice description

While our work begins with your personal experience, we’ll also attend to the wider social, cultural and relational contexts that shape how you see yourself and others. Together, we may look at how family, intergenerational dynamics, gender, race, class, or cultural expectations shape the stories you carry and the ways in which you move through, and relate to, the world.

My approach is non-pathologising and grounded in curiosity. This means I’m not here to label or diagnose you, but to meet you where you are – with openness and respect for your experience. I value the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space where together we can reflect honestly and openly on your life – including what may feel painful, confusing or difficult to name.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹ԭ´´) and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling. Alongside my clinical practice, I am engaged in doctoral research exploring how gender shapes therapeutic relationships, particularly in the context of working with women who have experienced trauma. This ongoing work continues to deepen my commitment to a therapeutic practice that is inclusive, reflective and sensitive to the dynamics of power, identity and social context.

I bring a calm and steady presence to the therapeutic space and offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on what feels right for you. If you’re curious about therapy, or wondering whether now might be the right time to begin, I welcome you to get in touch.
