About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Pav, a qualified Counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹ԭ´´), based in Nottingham.

I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, whether you’re completely new to counselling or returning after a break. Taking this step shows courage, and it’s a sign that you’re ready to prioritise your wellbeing.

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. My aim is to support you at your pace, helping you make sense of your experiences, rebuild confidence and move towards positive change.

Practice description

My practice is trauma-informed, meaning I am mindful of how past experiences can shape your life in the present—emotionally, mentally and physically.

I have a particular interest in supporting people who have experienced narcissistic abuse or difficult relationships with narcissistic traits. This can include family, romantic, or workplace dynamics where manipulation, gaslighting or control may have left you feeling uncertain about yourself.
This work often involves untangling feelings of self-doubt, rebuilding self-worth, and learning to trust your own voice again.

Alongside this, I frequently work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship breakdowns, low self-esteem, identity and belonging, and the lasting effects of trauma.

I work collaboratively and at your pace. Recognising that every person’s story is unique. My practice takes into account culture, identity, upbringing and personal history, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions you may have.
If you decide to begin sessions, our first meeting will give us a chance to explore your needs in more depth, get a sense of how it feels to work together, and start setting some goals. There’s no pressure or expectation — therapy moves at your pace, and it’s about creating a space that feels right for you.
