About me and my therapy practice
If you're used to being the one everyone relies on, it's easy to lose sight of how much you're carrying yourself. You might be holding everything together on the outside while quietly feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or close to burnout underneath.
I'm a down-to-earth, working-class counsellor offering online counselling for adults in Leeds and across the UK.
Many people come to me feeling confused about why they think, feel or react the way they do. One of the things I'm most passionate about is helping people make sense of those patterns, because understanding yourself is often the first step towards making meaningful changes.
I work with anxiety (including health anxiety), depression, burnout, emotional overwhelm, trauma, bereavement, low self-esteem, neurodivergent experiences (including ADHD and autism), relationship difficulties and LGBTQ+ issues.
Whether you're constantly putting other people's needs before your own, struggling to switch off, feeling guilty for resting, or wondering why you keep pushing yourself beyond your limits, therapy can help you better understand yourself, break unhelpful patterns and feel more in control of your life.
Alongside my private practice, I also work as a Specialist Mentor for neurodivergent students at the University of Warwick, helping students understand themselves, manage overwhelm and build confidence.
Therapy with me isn't about talking for the sake of talking. It's about understanding what's keeping you stuck, making sense of your experiences, and helping you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Practice description
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, offering a warm, empathetic approach that places your needs at the heart of our work. I hold a Master’s degree (MA) in Clinical Counselling from the University of Chester (Merit), alongside a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
While my core training is in person-centred therapy, I also integrate elements of solution-focused therapy and CBT-informed approaches where helpful, adapting to what best supports you.
As a creative practitioner, I also offer the option of using art within sessions, providing a powerful alternative way to explore emotions and experiences when words may be difficult to find. Whether we work through conversation, creativity, or more structured techniques, the space is yours to express yourself and grow in whatever way feels right for you.
My first session
Our first session is a chance for us to gently get to know one another and begin exploring what has brought you to counselling. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and there is no pressure to open up before you’re ready.
We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what support you’re looking for, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Sessions will always move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Life doesn't always fall apart all at once. Sometimes it's years of carrying too much, losing people, putting yourself last, or feeling like you've slowly lost sight of who you are.
I'm a down-to-earth, working-class counsellor offering online counselling for adults in Bristol and across the UK.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m a down-to-earth, working-class counsellor who brings both personal insight and professional training to the heart of my work. I know how heavy life can feel sometimes, when emotions get tangled, motivation disappears, or everything just feels too much.
I specialise in supporting people through anxiety, depression, bereavement, loneliness, social isolation, neurodivergent experiences (including ADHD and autism), trauma, emotional overwhelm, and LGBTQ+ issues. These are more than just areas of training for me, they’re topics I care deeply about, and I offer a space where you can feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
Alongside private practice, I also work as a specialist mentor for neurodivergent students at the University of Warwick, supporting students to better understand their needs, manage overwhelm, and navigate the pressures of academic and everyday life.
Therapy with me isn’t about ticking boxes or following a strict method. It’s about working together in a way that feels right for you, at your pace, in your own time. Whether you're ready to talk, unsure where to start, or just need someone to sit alongside you, I’m here.
It’s okay if everything feels a bit chaotic or unclear right now. Taking the first step is often the hardest part, and from there, we’ll gently begin to unpack things, build trust, and figure things out together.
This isn’t just about surviving the tough times, it’s about finding your footing, reconnecting with who you are, and moving toward the life you want.
