About me and my therapy practice
Based in south-east London, I offer therapy for adults and young people, providing a supportive space to explore and improve emotional and mental wellbeing.
With a background in creative agencies, I have worked in fast-paced, commercial environments and developed a particular interest in how the world of work — and its complex relational dynamics — affects wellbeing. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of workplace pressures, which I integrate into my private practice, where I support clients with a wide range of difficulties, concerns, and life transitions.
Alongside this, I have a dedicated focus on supporting parents — expectant, new, and established — through the emotional shifts, identity changes, and relational challenges that accompany parenthood. Through www.therapyforparenthood.co.uk, I offer space to explore themes such as perinatal mental health, adjustment to family life, and the balance between personal and professional identity.
Beyond private practice, I have worked across various clinical settings, including the NHS, higher education, and community-based organisations. As part of the Primary Care Mental Health Team at the Maudsley Hospital, I supported patients with depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, substance misuse, and self-harm, and have worked in multidisciplinary teams at King’s College Hospital and the Ladywell Psychiatric Unit at Lewisham Hospital.
Alongside my NHS work, I have provided specialist support to neurodivergent students through UCL's Student Counselling Service and exploratory therapy at the Albany Trust, focusing on healthy and fulfilling LGBTIQA+ relationships and sexual wellbeing.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and rooted in psychodynamic principles, integrating evidence-based research to support each client’s unique needs. I completed my counselling and psychotherapy training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation and Birkbeck College, University of London.
Practice description
