About me and my therapy practice
I’m Jas, a counselling practitioner offering Humanistic, Integrative, relational therapy that honours your unique story and emotional landscape. I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and inclusive, grounded in deep respect for your lived experience.
I work in accordance with the Â鶹Դ´ Ethical Framework, which means I place your wellbeing, autonomy, and safety at the heart of our work. I’m committed to practicing with integrity, transparency, and care, offering a space where you can feel heard, valued, and supported. I reflect regularly on my practice, engage in supervision, and uphold professional boundaries to ensure our work remains ethical and effective.
Practice description
I offer in-person sessions from Elephant Rooms in Draycott, a calm, welcoming space rooted in community and wellbeing. The setting is designed to help you feel safe, grounded, and at ease, with free parking and accessible facilities to support a smooth arrival. Whether you're coming for the first time or returning after a break, it's a space where you can exhale and be met with care.
I also offer online sessions, giving you the flexibility to access therapy from wherever feels most comfortable, whether that’s your home, a quiet corner of your day, or somewhere that fits around work or caregiving. I aim to make therapy as adaptable and supportive as possible, so you can focus on what matters most to you.
My first session
The first session is used to undertake an assessment, a chance for us to explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what support might be most helpful, and whether we feel like a good fit to work together. It’s a space to ask questions, share what feels important, and begin shaping a therapeutic approach that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to commit beyond this session, and you’re welcome to take time afterwards to reflect on whether you’d like to continue.
