About me and my therapy practice
There are many reasons to seek support; no reason is too big or too small. I understand that life can be complex and feel very difficult at times, and I know from my own personal and professional experience, the lasting and meaningful change that therapy can bring.
I work with adults in both private practice and through a local charity, supporting people from all walks of life who are facing a wide range of challenges. My experience includes but is not limited to working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, body image concerns, relationship difficulties, people pleasing, parenting issues, and infertility.
I believe that real change happens when we feel safe, listened to, and supported. In our sessions, you won’t be judged or told what to do. Instead, I’ll offer a calm, kind, and engaged presence, giving you the chance to explore what’s going on for you and to move at your own pace toward a more balanced and hopeful place.
Practice description
I’m a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´).
I offer counselling sessions online or by phone, giving you the flexibility to talk from wherever feels most comfortable - at home, on a walk, or even from your car during a lunch break.
Online therapy is very effective; in fact, some people find it easier to open up and feel more at ease in a familiar space. What matters most is the connection we build, and that’s absolutely possible, wherever you are.
Therapy can be long-term or short-term. We can work on a session-by-session basis, with no need for ongoing commitment unless it feels right for you.
My first session
Choosing a counsellor you feel comfortable with is incredibly important, as the relationship itself plays a bigger role in the success of therapy than any particular technique or approach.
Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to arrange a convenient time for a free 15-minute telephone call to see if we could be a good fit.
If you decide to go ahead, our first 50-minute session will build on our initial conversation. I’ll explain how I work, go through the counselling agreement, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward.
What I can help with
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Addictions, AIDS/HIV, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Menopause, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self-harm, Stress, Substance Dependency, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues

Humanistic, Person centred
