About me and my therapy practice
I'm a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist who believes in the power of understanding ourselves more deeply. Life can present us with feelings and experiences that feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply difficult to make sense of alone.
In therapy, you have a space to explore whatever feels important to you—whether that's specific challenges you're facing, patterns in your relationships, or simply a sense that something needs attention in your life.
My approach draws from psychoanalytic understanding, which means paying attention to how your past experiences shape your present, the dynamics in your relationships, and the unconscious processes that influence how you move through the world. This might include exploring your dreams, recurring thoughts, or the feelings that arise in different situations.
I work within the NHS and have seen how therapy can help people find their way through difficult periods. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about understanding yourself better, therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and discover new possibilities for how you relate to yourself and others.
Understanding and growth emerges when you have space to be truly heard and seen.
I offer clients a free 15 minute phone call before booking a consultation. This is not a session, but it allows me to answer any questions you may have.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Practice description
I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.
I am a member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP), the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´). I am DBS checked.
My first session
I offer clients a free 15 minute phone call before booking a consultation. This is not a session, but it allows me to answer any questions you may have.
We will then agree on a day and time to meet for a preliminary consultation which may take up to two sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes; it is an opportunity for us to explore the reasons that have brought you to therapy and provide you with a sense of how therapy works. If you have concerns or questions about embarking on a course of therapy, this is an opportunity to discuss them with me.
Once the consultation sessions are over, we will discuss the best course of treatment for you. If we agree to work together, it is usual for sessions to be at a regular day and time every week and last 50 minutes. We will agree on a session fee.
