About me and my therapy practice
I work from a calm and relaxed person-centred foundation, creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important. While my core approach is person-centred, I work in an eclectic way, drawing on different therapeutic perspectives to match your changing needs and the direction of our work together. My aim is to meet you where you are, collaborate with you at your pace, and support you in finding insight, clarity, and lasting change.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm, relaxed, confidential space where you can talk openly and safely about whatever you’re experiencing at the moment. I work from a person-centred base, placing genuine connection, empathy and respect at the heart of the process. Sessions are led by you, your pace and your needs.
I work flexibly and creatively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches when they support your growth.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply trying to make sense of what’s going on inside, I aim to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered. My focus is on helping you develop clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of yourself, so that change becomes both possible and sustainable.
My first session
In our first session, I invite you to complete a simple therapeutic questionnaire. This helps us get a sense of where you are right now and what you’re hoping to achieve from counselling. Once that’s done, we move into a relaxed conversation about whatever you’d like to bring. This gives you a chance to get a feel for the space, my way of working, and whether it feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready — the aim is simply to help you settle in, feel comfortable, and begin shaping the direction of our work together.
