About me and my therapy practice
I am a humanistic counsellor who believes in the power of authentic, compassionate relationships to foster healing and growth. Working in a relational way, I create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgment.
Specialising in anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, loss and depression, I understand that every individual’s journey is unique. I bring warmth, empathy, and a deep commitment to understanding your world, helping you feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we will explore what matters most to you, at a pace that feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Qualified Therapeutic Counsellor | Supporting Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Addiction & Neurodivergence
Helping You Move Forward, One Step at a Time
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, low self-esteem, or past experiences hold you back. You may feel stuck, unsure of how to move forward, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own. I offer a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and coping strategies.
Who I Help
I work with adults who are experiencing:
✔ Anxiety & Overthinking – feeling on edge, stuck in worry cycles, or overwhelmed
✔ Low Self-Esteem & Confidence – struggling with self-doubt or self-criticism
✔ Addiction & Unhealthy Coping Strategies – wanting to break free from harmful patterns
✔ Neurodivergence (Autism & ADHD etc) – supporting self-understanding & emotional wellbeing
✔ Relationship Challenges – difficulties with boundaries, communication, or past trauma
My Approach
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support and guide you in a way that feels right for you. Our sessions will be led by what you need, whether that’s understanding your emotions, developing coping tools, or processing past experiences. If helpful, I also draw on somatic techniques, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches to support you in managing anxiety and breaking unhelpful thought patterns.
What to Expect
✔ A supportive and accepting space to explore your thoughts and feelings
✔ A deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions
✔ Practical strategies to manage anxiety, self-doubt, or overwhelm
✔ Empowerment to make positive changes at your own pace
Practice description
Seeking support can feel like a big step, and it’s important that you feel comfortable and understood. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and tailored to what you need at this moment in your life. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges.
How I Work:
I won’t tell you what to do or offer quick fixes, but I will listen with care, help you explore what’s going on, and support you in finding your own way forward.
Our sessions will move at your pace—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.
I work in a person-centred way, which means you are at the heart of the process. However, if helpful, I can also bring in practical techniques from somatic therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to support you.
Therapy is a collaborative journey—whether you need a space to process emotions, build confidence, or develop coping strategies, we will shape the sessions around what feels most useful for you.
Practical Details:
Sessions last 50 minutes and can be in-person in Ringwood or Poole, or online.
My fee is £52 per session, with some reduced-fee slots available.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit.
If you’d like to know more or arrange a session, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to chat.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy. I understand that starting counselling can feel a little nerve-wracking, so my aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible in a calm, supportive, and confidential space.
What Will Happen in the First Session?
A Chance to Share Your Story – We’ll begin by talking about what has led you to seek counselling and what you hope to gain from it. There’s no pressure to go into deep detail—this session is about getting a sense of what’s important to you.
A Brief Assessment – I’ll ask some gentle questions about your current challenges, emotional wellbeing, and any key life experiences that might be relevant. This helps me understand how best to support you.
Exploring How We’ll Work Together – I’ll explain how counselling works, the approach I use, and answer any questions you might have. We’ll also talk about practical details like confidentiality, session structure, and frequency.
A No-Pressure Environment – The first session isn’t about solving everything at once—it’s a space for us to get a feel for working together and decide if counselling feels right for you. You’re free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
What Happens Next?
By the end of the session, we can decide if we’d like to continue working together. If you choose to proceed, we’ll agree on a plan for ongoing sessions based on what feels right for you.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation if you’d like to ask any questions before booking your first session. Feel free to get in touch.

My work is based on the understanding that healing happens not just through talking, but also by reconnecting with the body and nervous system. If appropriate, we may explore body-based techniques to help regulate emotions, release tension, and build a deeper sense of safety.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I’m a qualified integrative counsellor offering online therapy with a focus on working with neurodivergent clients. This includes individuals who identify with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, aphantasia, dyspraxia, dyslexia and other forms of neurodivergence, whether formally diagnosed or self-identified.
I offer a calm, affirming and inclusive therapeutic space where your neurodivergent experience is understood, respected, and supported. I recognise the stress that can come from living in a world that isn’t always designed with neurodivergence in mind, and I aim to work alongside you to navigate these challenges in a way that honours your individuality.
How I work
My approach is warm, person-centred and adapted to your needs. I draw from integrative counselling, somatic awareness and trauma-informed practice. Sessions are paced gently, and I work collaboratively, checking in regularly to ensure therapy feels safe, accessible and useful for you.
I pay close attention to sensory needs, communication preferences, and nervous system regulation, especially where anxiety, overwhelm, masking, or shutdowns are part of your experience. If you struggle with verbal expression, I can support you with alternative ways of working, including pauses, creative adaptations, or body-based awareness if that feels comfortable.
Specialist areas I support:
Autism and ADHD (diagnosed or self-identified)
Health anxiety, sensory anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Aphantasia and difficulties with visualisation in therapy
Masking, burnout and autistic fatigue
Social anxiety and relationship struggles
Identity, self-esteem and shame linked to difference
Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
I’m passionate about creating a non-judgemental, neurodiversity-affirming space where you don’t need to explain or mask who you are. My aim is to meet you exactly where you are, work at your pace, and help you feel more resourced in your body, mind, and life.
Practice description
Online sessions offer the flexibility and comfort of being in your own environment, which can reduce sensory stress and increase emotional safety. Many of my clients find that working remotely allows for more control over their therapeutic space and helps reduce barriers to accessing support.
I also have a practice in Ringwood, where I can do face to face sessions or a combination of both online and face to face, as and when needed.
