About me and my therapy practice

I work with clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including complex trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.

Whatever your reasons for considering therapy, I offer a supportive, safe, and confidential space to work together towards your growth and well-being.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of different theoretical approaches to suit each client. However, central to my practice is to be relational and humanistic. This means, first and foremost, that I work empathically, honestly and with great respect for you and your story.

I am a registered member of the Â鶹ԭ´´, with a post-graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling, with four years in-depth training at the Minster Centre in London - renowned for the quality and depth of its curriculum.

I am also a qualified facilitator of men’s groups, and often work with people, of all genders, who want to explore the effects of masculinity and the patriarchy.

I know that choosing a therapist can be difficult, so I’m very happy to have a free 15/20 -minute telephone or Zoom call to explore how we might work together, with no obligation at all.  Most clients find this a helpful first step, especially if they are considering therapy for the first time.

Feel free to get in touch.

Practice description

Sessions last 50 minutes, on a weekly basis, and ideally at the same day/time as agreed in our first session.

Normally, after around six sessions, we will review how you are finding our work together, and whether you’d like to continue working with an open-ended agreement, or for a fixed number of sessions, or to end the therapy.

Alongside talking therapy, I can bring in other practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork.

I also work with some clients in nature, i.e. green spaces such as parks, nature reserves and close to water.

My first session

In our first session we explore the reasons you have come to therapy, your hopes and expectations, and how we might best work together. You can ask me any questions and talk about any fears or concerns that you might have.

This is an opportunity to decide if you feel comfortable to work with me.

If we choose to continue working together, we will arrange a mutually convenient day and time for our weekly sessions. This will be your dedicated weekly slot.
