About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Kat (Yekaterina). I offer counselling for adults who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, trauma, bereavement, or the impact of difficult life experiences. I also have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence. If these struggles are affecting your daily life or leaving you feeling stuck, I can support you in making sense of what you’re going through and finding ways to move forward.
As your therapist, I’ll provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel understood. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and experiences behind your difficulties, while developing healthier coping strategies and building resilience. My aim is to help you reconnect with your strengths, increase self-confidence, and move towards lasting positive change.
I’m an integrative therapist, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your individual needs. With over 9 years of experience, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding of how transformative therapy can be.
I offer face-to-face sessions as well as online and telephone counselling, so you can choose the format that feels most comfortable for you.
Finding the right therapist is an important step. If you’d like to explore how I can support you, please get in touch to arrange an initial session.

My first session
The relationship with your therapist is central to meaningful and lasting change, so finding the right fit is important.
To help with this, I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation. This gives us the chance to talk about what you’re hoping to achieve in therapy and to get a sense of how I work. It’s also an opportunity to ask any questions—there’s no pressure to commit.
In our first full session, we usually begin by exploring what has brought you to therapy and how it’s affecting your life—emotionally, mentally, physically, and in your day-to-day experiences. From there, we’ll start to shape goals for our work together, helping you move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being.
