About me and my therapy practice

  • Hola and welcome! I'm Pedro (he/him)

I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创-accredited counsellor, originally from Barcelona, now based in London. I offer therapy in English and Spanish, both online and in person, from two locations: Greenwich and London Bridge.

My practice is grounded in the Person-Centred Approach, a way of working that builds trust, empathy, and acceptance so you can feel safe enough to explore what鈥檚 going on and start reconnecting with who you are.

Summer can feel like a strange mix. Even when the sun鈥檚 out and things seem 鈥榦kay,鈥 it鈥檚 not always easy inside. Maybe part of you feels like you should be fine, but another part knows something鈥檚 not sitting right. Therapy gives you a space to stop, breathe, and make sense of what鈥檚 really going on.

Many of the people I support are:

  • LGBTQIA+ people looking for a space where they don鈥檛 have to explain themselves
  • Men who feel pressure to stay strong or keep emotions in
  • Those who experience the world differently, including ADHD, sensory overwhelm, or other forms of neurodivergence
  • People carrying trauma that keeps replaying in the body and mind
  • Individuals navigating shame, cultural disconnection, or identity struggles

If you鈥檝e ever been told to stay quiet, stay strong, or fit in ( even when it hurt) this is a place to unlearn that. A space to feel seen, supported, and understood.

  • Embracing opennes: My approach to therapy

I believe therapy isn鈥檛 about fixing you, it鈥檚 about making room for the parts of yourself that haven鈥檛 always felt safe to be seen. We鈥檒l explore the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that shape your life, building self-understanding and trust along the way.

I believe deeply in the connection between mind and body, a principle that is central to my counseling practice. This can be especially helpful if you feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, numbness, or overwhelm.

If you鈥檙e looking for a therapist who celebrates diversity and works with compassion, creativity, and depth, I鈥檇 love to hear from you.

Practice description

  • What I Bring to Our Work Together

I'm a qualified counsellor trained in the Person-Centred Approach and proudly accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (麻豆原创).

Alongside my private practice, I also support NHS clients and work with charities supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.

I'm part of the Creative Counsellors network, a community that integrates creativity into therapy, offering fresh and accessible ways to connect with emotion and insight.

I鈥檝e completed additional training to support:

  • LGBTQIA+ clients navigating identity, stigma, or belonging
  • Men鈥檚 mental health, especially around silence, shame, and emotional expression
  • Neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD or sensory sensitivities
  • Survivors of complex trauma and abuse
  • People working through deep feelings of shame
  • Those facing cultural or systemic barriers to mental wellbeing

My background in Fine Arts brings a multicultural and creative lens to the therapy room, helping clients connect their personal stories with strength, meaning, and possibility.

  • Therapy changed my life: that's why I am here.

Therapy helped me see there was nothing wrong with me, just parts of me that needed compassion. What first brought me to therapy was the need to feel understood, not judged, not 鈥渇ixed,鈥 but truly seen. My thoughts, feelings, and behaviours all made sense once I had space to look at them with kindness and curiosity, rather than shame.

Therapy gave me the chance to understand where my struggles came from. I could finally see how my beliefs were shaping how I responded to life, and that I didn鈥檛 have to stay stuck in old patterns. Most importantly, I realised that change doesn鈥檛 come from trying to be someone else or running away from my feelings: it starts when we accept who we are, with compassion.
