I am a Person-Centred counsellor working with an integrative approach, adapting my work to suit each individual client and their needs. I have experience supporting adults who have experienced sexual abuse (current, historical, and childhood), as well as those affected by trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, alcoholism, grief, and bereavement.

I place strong importance on the therapeutic relationship and aim to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel able to share their thoughts and experiences openly. I work at the client’s pace, respecting their autonomy and personal values.

I work integratively, adapting my approach to meet individual client needs. My practice is informed by the Âé¶¹Ô­´´ Ethical Framework and supported by regular supervision and ongoing Continuing Professional Development.

Practice description

I am a Âé¶¹Ô­´´ Registered counsellor and hold a SQA Higher National Diploma in Counselling. My training covers a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, and Gestalt therapies.

I have completed additional training, including a Diploma in Grief and Bereavement Counselling and a Professional Development Award in Addiction Counselling (SCQF Level 8). 

I also hold a Diploma in Christian Counselling.

My first session

Your first session is a safe, confidential space to talk about what’s on your mind and what you hope to achieve. We’ll also agree a simple contract covering confidentiality, sessions, fees, and boundaries. You are under no obligation to continue.
