I offer a warm, safe, and non‑judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace—whether they’re happening now, rooted in the recent past, or connected to events long ago. Together, we gently make sense of what you’re feeling, deepen your self‑understanding, and support your emotional growth.

Hi, I’m Jan.
Whatever you’re hoping to explore in counselling, our work together will be shaped around your needs, your pace, and what feels right for you. I take a holistic, collaborative approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic methods to support your goals and help you make sense of your experiences. Every person who comes to me is unique, and together we’ll find the approaches that best support your wellbeing, growth, and self‑understanding.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on person‑centred therapy, cognitive therapy, Gestalt, and a variety of creative techniques when they’re helpful. My practice is both trauma‑informed and neurodiversity‑affirming, offering a safe, compassionate space where all parts of your story are welcome—whether you’re navigating past experiences, current challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply.
Sessions are available in person or online via video call, giving you flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable.
I offer a free, no‑obligation 30‑minute initial consultation (via video call, phone, or in person) so we can get to know each other and see whether I’m the right therapist for you. If you feel ready to take the next step, I’d love to hear from you.
My first session
Our first 30-minute session may take place by phone, online or in person.
You can ask me any questions you have, and we will be able to talk about how you want to work and what you want to get out of counselling. I will also have some initial questions and will share my counselling agreement.
It is important that we are both happy that we will be able to work together, so if we both agree, we will then book in your next session.
