About me and my therapy practice
Are you here because you’re…..
*struggling with self-doubt, low self-esteem, or just feeling not good enough?
*dealing with stress and overwhelm at work and at home?
*feeling let down in your relationships?
*feeling anxious or having intrusive thoughts?
*feeling that you lack direction in your life?
I am Geanina, I’m a qualified counsellor and I specialise in working with anxiety, low self-esteem and relationship issues. If you’re reading this, it’s likely that you’re finding it hard to say no and that you tend to prioritise other people over yourself. You may also be struggling with a loud, critical voice that puts you down when you say or do the wrong thing. I know that these issues can impact you at a broad level.
I would like to offer you a non-judgmental space in which you can share your current challenges. I see therapy as a space in which you can find clarity and feel supported as you do that. My approach is gentle and my clients have described me as warm, calm and insightful. I work by being present for you, by engaging in natural conversation and by asking questions that will lead to insights. My goal is to establish a relationship with you and to be there for you in a way that makes you feel heard and empowered.
I believe that we often carry our past into the present without realising it. This means that we may hold and perpetuate old images, beliefs and feelings that no longer serve us. This is why it is important to bring them out into the light so we can shift them. In the process, we can find the freedom to act from a place of confidence rather than fear.
As a result of our work together, you will:
*feel confident and trust yourself
*feel calm at home and at work
*learn to draw boundaries
*build better relationships
*gain a deeper understanding of herself
*feel overall aligned with your true self
I have experience but I don’t work exclusively with: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, chronic illness, shame and social anxiety.
Practice description
My training is in Psychosynthesis psychology, which is a gentle yet powerful approach to personal growth and healing. It looks at you as a whole person — not just your difficulties, but also your strengths, values, and unique potential. In our work together, we would explore both your past experiences and your present challenges, but also focus on who you are becoming and the life you want to create.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in broadcasting and as a translator. I also have experience as a career coach, having trained in that area as well — something that can be helpful if you’re navigating work-related challenges.
I know that reaching out can be difficult, but also that it can be the most important step you can take to make some positive shifts in your life.
I work Monday to Friday at my therapy room in Winchester as well as online.
Please get in touch to arrange a free introductory call.
My first session
We will start with a free 15 minute call where we will explore what brings you to therapy as well as what you hope to get from our work together. At this point, you may choose to book further sessions, but there is no pressure for you to do so.
Once we decide to work together, our first full session will be 50 minutes long. In this session, I will ask you more in-depth questions about yourself and about your history that might be relevant to your current challenges.

Practice description
My training is in Psychosynthesis which is known as a psychology of hope. It has at its core the belief that human beings are driven by an impulse to grow and to become more of who we truly are. Sometimes life makes it hard for us to follow this drive and we end up getting caught in patterns of behaviour and ways of being that stifle our natural aliveness. In therapy, we work towards uncovering your authentic Self from underneath these unhelpful patterns so you can find purpose and meaning in your life.
My first session
We will start with a free 15 minute call where we will explore what brings you to therapy as well as what you hope to get from our work together. At this point you may choose to book further sessions, but there is no pressure for you to do so. I believe it’s very important that you work with a therapist that you feel comfortable with and I encourage you to speak to a few practitioners before you decide.
Once we decide to work together, our first full session will be 50 minutes long. In this session I will ask you more in depth questions about yourself and about your history that might be relevant to your current challenges.
