Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and I offer counselling sessions online, making therapy accessible wherever you are in the UK. I provide both daytime and evening appointments during the week, and I can usually offer a first session within 1–2 weeks of contact.

I work with adults on a short-term or longer-term basis, depending on your needs. My approach is supportive, flexible, and tailored to each individual. I regularly support clients experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, workplace challenges, relationship issues, and personal transitions.

In addition to working with private clients, I also accept referrals from Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), health providers, and organisations who wish to offer counselling support to their employees or members. All sessions are confidential and delivered in line with Â鶹ԭ´´â€™s ethical framework.

If you are considering therapy, please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs. I am happy to arrange a brief initial call so you can ask questions and see if working together feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life. My approach is collaborative — I believe you are the expert in your own experience, and my role is to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns so that you can make sense of them and find a way forward.

I draw on an integrative approach, which means I combine different therapeutic models depending on what best suits you. This may include person-centred therapy, CBT-informed strategies, and elements of psychodynamic work. Some clients prefer focused, solution-based sessions for a specific issue, while others benefit from longer-term exploration of deeper concerns. Together, we will find a pace and style of working that feels right for you.

I have experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, and life changes. My practice is grounded in the Â鶹ԭ´´ ethical framework, and I receive regular supervision to ensure I offer safe and effective therapy.

Whether you are looking for short-term support or ongoing therapy, I provide a confidential and compassionate environment where you can reflect, gain clarity, and develop healthier ways of coping.

Practice description

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it is important that you feel comfortable and supported. In my practice, I offer a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can talk openly about what is going on for you, without judgement.

My sessions are collaborative — you set the pace, and together we explore the issues you are facing. Some clients come with a specific problem they want to work through in a short number of sessions, while others find it helpful to take more time to explore their experiences in depth. Both approaches are welcome, and I will adapt the way I work to suit your needs.

I work online, which means you can access therapy from wherever you are in the UK. Many people find this offers greater flexibility, privacy, and comfort, as you can attend sessions from your own space. I currently offer both daytime and evening appointments.

My integrative approach draws on person-centred, CBT-informed, and psychodynamic perspectives. This allows me to tailor therapy to you — whether you want support with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, or adjusting to life changes.

I also accept referrals from Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), health providers, and organisations, offering professional and confidential support for employees dealing with workplace stress or personal challenges.

Clients often tell me they value my warm, down-to-earth style and the sense of relief that comes from having a space where they can be truly heard. My aim is to help you gain clarity, find new perspectives, and develop practical ways of coping so you can move forward in life with greater confidence and resilience.

My first session

I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, so the first session is designed to help you feel comfortable and to give us both a chance to see whether we are a good fit to work together.

During this initial meeting, I will invite you to share a little about what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to get out of it. There is no pressure to go into detail straight away — we will work at a pace that feels safe for you. I may ask some gentle questions to help me understand your situation, but the focus will be on listening and getting to know you.

I will also explain how I work, including confidentiality, cancellations, and practicalities, so that you feel clear about what to expect. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about the counselling process.

Some people find that just having this first space to talk can already feel like a relief. By the end of the session, we can discuss whether you would like to continue, how often we might meet, and whether you are looking for short-term or longer-term support.

I currently offer my first session at the same rate as regular sessions, and it lasts for 50 minutes. If you are unsure about committing, I also offer a brief (15–20 minute) initial telephone or video consultation free of charge, so you can get a sense of whether working together feels right before booking a full session.

My aim in the first session is to create a welcoming and supportive space, where you feel heard, understood, and able to begin your therapeutic journey at your own pace.
