About me and my therapy practice

Hello, and thank you for considering me as your therapist. I am a qualified professional dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

My approach is rooted in the person-centred model, meaning that our sessions will be led by the issues you bring, rather than directed by me. I believe in your capacity for self-discovery, self-awareness, and personal growth.

I specialise in grief and loss, anger and frustration management, and self-esteem issues. Additionally, I can support you in dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, historical issues, and life changes and pressures.

I am here to listen to you with empathy and understanding (and humour where appropriate) and to help you navigate life's challenges at your own pace. Above all else, I believe that the therapist-client relationship is key, and finding the right therapist is crucial to the healing process. My aim is to empower you to seek understanding and move forward in discovering the person you want to be.

Together, we can work towards finding clarity, healing, and empowerment.

For more information about me and (my version of) what to expect from therapy, please visit my website - www.carolhymustherapy.co.uk
