About me and my therapy practice
At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together. I am a warm, grounded and attentive counsellor. I offer a steady, supportive space where you can slow things down, feel heard and understood, and begin to make sense of what feels difficult or unclear. Therapy with me is collaborative, and we work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
My approach is integrative and tailored around you as an individual. I also pay close attention to the relationship we build together, in safety, trust and acceptance. This helps to bring a more in-depth understanding of your experience and how you relate to yourself and others.
Rather than work from a fixed model, I stay responsive to what feels most helpful for you in the space. This allows us to gently explore what is happening beneath the surface, including how past experiences, relationships and life events may continue to influence how you think, feel and impact your daily life now.
Practice description
Who I work with
I support people who often feel they are coping on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or disconnected. This can include, anxiety, worry and overthinking, burnout, self-doubt, imposter feelings, low confidence, as well as feeling stuck or unsure about direction in life or work. I also support people going through life transitions, relationship difficulties and experiences of grief or loss. Clients have described a sense of carrying too much for others, struggling to voice their own needs, or finding it hard to fully trust themselves in decisions. There is often a quiet awareness that something isn't quite working anymore, even if it's not yet clear what needs to change.
What you can expect
Giving yourself time and space to pause and reflect can open up new ways of understanding yourself and the challenges you're facing. Sessions give you a space to talk about what feels present, difficult or emotionally heavy, without judgement or needing to have it all worked out.
We begin with what feels most present for you. I meet you where you are. As we go, I may gently reflect patterns, insights or themes, I notice in how you experience yourself and others, and we explore these together when helpful. This can support deeper self-awareness and personal growth over time.
During the process, we will also check in with how things are feeling for you in the work itself—noticing what is shifting, what feels helpful and what may be changing through therapy. Over time, things can start to feel clearer, more manageable, and connected to who you are and what you need.
My first session
If we decide to move forward, I will send a short client intake form, along with a counselling agreement and online session guide before the first session. This helps you understand more of how we will work together and gives me a sense of your support needs.
The first session is 50 minutes, via Google Meet and gives space to explore your current situation in more depth, along with what you hope to gain from therapy. At the end of the session there is no pressure to decide right away. you're welcome to take some time if needed, to reflect before deciding whether to continue.
If you decide to start, we begin working together once the counselling agreement has been signed. If you're ready to take the next step, you can get in touch via email or visit my website to arrange an introductory call.
