About me and my therapy practice

I’m Rusne Fokiene, an integrative therapeutic counsellor working with individual adults (18+). I offer face to face counselling in Ipswich and online sessions across the UK. I support people who feel stuck in unhelpful relational patterns, emotional cycles, or long standing wounds that continue to shape how they think, feel, and connect.
Many adults come to therapy carrying the impact of past experiences that influence their relationships, boundaries, and sense of self. My work helps you understand these patterns with compassion, develop healthier ways of relating, and reconnect with a steadier, more grounded inner world.
How I Work
My approach blends relational depth, somatic awareness, and practical therapeutic tools. Together, we explore the emotions, triggers, and protective responses that arise in your relationships — including the relationship you have with yourself. This process supports clarity, resilience, emotional balance, and the gradual development of inner peace.

I offer therapy in English and Lithuanian languages.
Practice description
My therapy sessions are built on open and supportive dialogue, where you can safely and confidentially share your lived experiences. I integrate the mind-body connection as a key part of the therapeutic process, helping you deepen self-awareness and experience personal growth in a new and meaningful way.
For face-to-face sessions, you’ll be welcomed into a quiet and peaceful space within my family home, designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a sense of calm throughout your journey.
My first session
First Steps: Free Consultation & Initial Session (Mondays)
Options:
- A free 15-minute phone call to discuss your mutual availability for regular sessions and make arrangements.
- 60 min Initial Consultation - £30 (phone or Zoom Video Call) - this session provides a chance to ask questions, share your concerns and personal circumstances, explore practical details like session frequency, scheduling, and payment options, or simply see if therapy feels right for you. Can be booked via the website.
There’s no obligation to continue after initial contact sessions—this is simply a space for you to decide if therapy aligns with your needs and availability.
Subsequent Sessions
If you choose to proceed, the first full session lasts 60 minutes and can take place In - person (Ipswich), phone call or via Zoom video call.
