Availability

I currently have availability for new clients. My main working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with sessions available between 9am and 6pm. I can occasionally offer appointments later than 6pm, so please feel free to speak with me if you need something outside these hours. If you’re thinking about starting therapy or would like to arrange a brief consultation first, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I aim to respond to all enquiries within two working days.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach blends ways of working that help you make sense of your thoughts while gently supporting you to connect with your emotions and immediate experience. My work is relational and experiential, grounded in empathy and emotional presence. I aim to offer a space where you can be met with understanding and curiosity, and where what feels difficult or confusing can begin to make more sense.

Alongside emotional exploration, I also draw on cognitive insight — helping you reflect on your beliefs, patterns and assumptions with care rather than judgement. This combination can support you in untangling what’s keeping you stuck and open up space for new ways of being.

I work from a Person-Centred foundation and integrate experiential methods such as focusing-oriented therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Where it feels helpful, we may bring attention to bodily experience, or explore questions of meaning and purpose from an existential or spiritual perspective.

My background in social science informs my understanding of how wider systems — culture, community and modern life — can contribute to distress. I hold space not only for your inner world but also for the external pressures that shape it, recognising that these affect each of us differently depending on our identities, background and circumstances.

Practice description

I offer a calm and supportive space where you can bring whatever feels most present for you. My intention is to create an atmosphere that feels safe, accepting, and unhurried — a place where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and bodily experience without judgement or pressure.

In our sessions, I hold space for difficult feelings, allowing them to unfold safely and at their own pace. My aim is to truly understand you and to be alongside you in whatever you’re feeling. In feeling my presence and empathy, you may begin to understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward that feels authentic and easier.

I seek to give voice to all the different and sometimes competing parts of your experience, helping you notice and make sense of them without rushing towards resolution. The relationship we build is central to the work — it’s often within this connection that understanding, insight, and change begin to take shape.

You might come wanting to make sense of something confusing, to find steadier ground after loss or change, or simply to feel more at ease in yourself. However you arrive, I aim to meet you where you are and support you in reconnecting with what feels most authentic and alive in you.

My first session

I offer a free consultation call by phone or video before the first session. This gives us a chance to talk through practicalities, ask any questions, and see whether we feel like a good fit — without needing to share your full story at this stage.

The first session itself provides a gentle and supportive space for you to introduce your story and explore what feels most present for you. My aim is to be alongside you in whatever you’re feeling, offering presence and empathy, so that from the very start you can feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin the work together.
