Thank you for visiting my profile regarding counselling in and around Peterborough. Whether it's your first time or returning to counselling, what can I help you with? I'm able to support a wide range of areas, including low self-esteem, depression, bereavement, traumatic experiences, and relationship issues. My counselling brings together self-awareness and skills to help you feel more in control of your life.
I am a qualified counsellor based in Peterborough. I am trauma trained and combine talking therapy with breathwork and mindfulness to help regulate your body to engage effectively with therapy. Our therapeutic relationship is based on mutual respect, trust, and understanding, placing you at the centre of our work together.
With any situation, there is a desire to find quick solutions or seek advice. By understanding how we cope and address issues, we can start to look at our situations, make better decisions, take control, and improve the way we feel about ourselves. With my support, you will be able to share what's going on within a safe, calm, trusting environment. We will go at your pace and direction.
Combining talking therapy with the sensations we feel in our bodies, known as felt senses, you will gain greater awareness and understanding about yourself, enabling you to move forward in life.

Practice description
I offer a range of therapies, including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, and Transactional Analysis, selected to meet your needs. You lead the way; this is your time. We will review how sessions are progressing and agree when to finish. You are not committed to a specific number of sessions; this is ultimately your decision.
I offer concessionary rates for counselling students registered on recognised courses.
My first session
Before we start, we will have a chat to see if I can help. If you decide to go ahead, we will book your first session.
I will then send you an email which will include session details along with other useful information.
If we decide to go ahead, our first session will be an opportunity to see if we can work together. I’ll ask some assessment questions to help me understand your background and what’s bringing you to counselling.
