I am currently open to new referrals/enquiries. I work with individuals aged 18 and over.
I work Monday-Thursday, and in person or online. I offer weekly or twice a week sessions dependent on your needs. I do not offer fortnightly sessions.
Issues clients and I have worked with include, anxiety, disordered eating, childhood trauma, dissociation.

About me and my therapy practice
All clients are unique and your story is just yours. I do not work from a one size fits all approach.
My training is informed by an attachment-based approach and also includes psychoanalytic perspectives & trauma informed approaches. Our earliest relationships with our caregivers can impact how we learn to relate to others or not, and so we will spend sometime thinking about and exploring your experiences of relationship with others. Pyschoanalysis seeks to bring out the unconscious, behaviours and patterns we may not be aware we are doing.
I am also passionate about helping clients explore experiences of marginalization in the many forms this can take, and as such I welcome all aspects of your experiences into the room including discrimination and exclusion.
I will always aim to stand alongside you, as you begin to find a safe enough space with me to explore your stories and experiences.
Practice description
To me you are an indivdual person with a unique story that is just yours. From your initial enquiry to working together, you can expect a friendly and warm approach. I make space during the process for any questions, so feel free to ask and I will also follow up in writing next steps where relevant.
When I receive your first email, I will reply as soon as possible. We will then arrange for a free of charge, 20 minute Zoom call. During this call we can see each other, and also talk about therapy a bit more and what you want to work on.
After that, if you want to go ahead, we will arrange one or two full sessions (fee payable) to talk more in depth about your history, what you want to work on, what areas of your life you hope to improve on.
If you feel after that, we will make arrangments to meet for a short number of sessions before reviewing before committing to longer term work together.
My first session
If we move to an initial 50 minute session, in that we will complete an assessment together. This allows us to explore what brings you to therapy in more depth, and some of your expectations around therapy and what you want to work on with me.
If after an inital 50 minute session, we both agree that we might work together, we will discuss arrangments, and set up to 6 sessions. After the intial sessions we will review therapy, before committing to longer term therapy together.
