About me and my therapy practice
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re unsure where to begin. Taking that first step is a brave and meaningful choice, and you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a safe and compassionate space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard, without pressure or judgment.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my work to you. Drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches, we’ll work together in a way that feels right for your individual needs and experiences.
I support people through a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, relationship challenges, and health-related concerns. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin, whether you’re facing something specific or simply feeling stuck or disconnected, we can take things at your pace. My hope is to create a warm, supportive environment where reflection feels possible and change feels achievable, helping you build self-awareness, confidence, and resilience along the way.
With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field across both public and private sectors, I understand how difficult it can be to seek and access support. I strongly believe counselling should be inclusive, accessible, and welcoming, and I am committed to creating a space where everyone feels comfortable reaching out.
My dual heritage and bilingual background inform my understanding of how culture, identity, and language shape our lived experiences. Inclusivity is a core part of my work, and I strive to offer a respectful, affirming space where every client feels seen, understood, and supported as their authentic self.
Practice description
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, available via telephone, online, or in-person sessions.
Finding the right counsellor is an important part of your therapeutic journey, which is why I offer a free introductory call for all new clients. This 15–20 minute conversation gives us the chance to discuss your current situation, explore your goals, and see whether we’re a good fit to work together. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for what therapy with me might look like.
My first session
In the first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, clarify your goals, and discuss how we might work together moving forward.
