About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my practice, a warm, inclusive space where every story matters. I bring a grounded and steady approach to therapy, shaped by my experience across different cultures and communities.

You may be navigating life changes, emotional difficulties or exploring your identity and sense of belonging. I offer a compassionate space where you can talk, reflect and grow at your own pace.

I offer short term and long-term face-to-face sessions for individuals in the East Finchley area (N2), very close to East Finchley station.

Practice description

My practice provides a warm, steady and inclusive space where you can talk openly and explore what feels important at your own pace.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from different therapeutic approaches and adapt the work to your needs, goals and preferred way of engaging. My style is collaborative and reflective, supporting you to make sense of your experiences and develop a clearer understanding of yourself.

In my face-toface practice, I also offer sessions for children. I have extensive experience working with children and I use creative, play-based approaches to support expression, especially for children who communicate non-verbally or find it easier to express themselves through art, movement or imaginative play.

The aim is to create a safe and supportive space where children can explore their feelings and experiences in a way that feels natural and comfortable for them.

Across all my work, I value the importance of trust, pace and sensitivity. You can expect a grounded, attuned presence and a therapeutic relationship where your thoughts, emotions and experiences are met with care and respect.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation so we can discuss your needs, answer any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

If the client is a child, I arrange the first conversation with the parent or caregiver. This allows us to talk through the child’s situation, any concerns you may have and what kind of support might be most appropriate before meeting your child. Together we explore whether play-based or creative approaches could be helpful and agree on the next steps.

When we decide to begin therapy, we arrange a regular weekly session. The first full session focuses on understanding what brings you or your child to therapy, your hopes, preferences and any practical considerations. I also explain how I work, including confidentiality and the structure of our sessions.

There is no assessment form or preparation required. You are welcome to come as you are, and we take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my practice.

I have extensive experience working with adults who identify as neurodivergent or who are exploring neurodiversity later in life, including ADHD and ASD (Autism spectrum). My approach is non-pathologising and grounded in understanding each person’s sensory needs, emotional patterns and lived experiences. I support clients in making sense of their identity, relationships and day-to-day challenges in a collaborative and accepting space.

I also work with adults navigating cross-cultural identity, migration, belonging, relationship difficulties and major life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting French-speaking expats who may be experiencing culture shock, isolation, stress or the process of rebuilding a sense of identity while living abroad.

Having lived across different countries, I understand how language, heritage and family expectations shape our sense of self and how we relate to others. As a trilingual therapist (English, French and Turkish), I bring cultural sensitivity and lived experience to the therapeutic process. I offer a warm, inclusive environment where you can explore these themes in the language that feels most natural to you.

Practice description

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting the work to suit your individual needs and the pace that feels right for you. This flexibility allows us to explore your experiences in a way that feels grounded, respectful and meaningful.

My style is relational and collaborative. I aim to create a steady space where you can reflect, make connections and gain clarity about what you want for yourself. I pay attention to how past experiences, emotional patterns and current stressors shape your day-to-day life, and we work together to understand these with compassion rather than judgement.

I am mindful of the impact of language, family dynamics and personal history on how we make sense of ourselves. I focus on helping you build insight, strengthen self-understanding and develop ways of coping that feel authentic to who you are.

My intention is to offer a thoughtful, attuned therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and supported as you explore whatever you choose to bring.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation, giving us a chance to talk through your needs and expectations before starting therapy. This is also a space for you to ask any questions and to get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit for you.

If we decide to go ahead, we will arrange a regular weekly session, currently offered online only. In the first full session, we will talk in more depth about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any preferences or access needs you may have. I will also explain how I work, including confidentiality, fees and cancellation arrangements.

There is no formal test or assessment to complete. You do not need to prepare anything in advance; we will go at your pace and you are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable in that first meeting.
