I currently offer online sessions with availability during the daytime, evenings and Saturdays.

Appointments are arranged by agreement and scheduled to fit around work, family and other commitments where possible.

About me and my therapy practice

You may feel permanently switched on. Life moves fast, expectations are high, and there is little room to pause. From the outside things look fine - work, relationships, responsibilities - yet inside it feels differently.

Many people reach this point after years of pushing through. Stress becomes normal. Rest stops working. The body stays tense, the mind rarely slows down, and even small things begin to feel overwhelming.

I am a qualified counsellor with a background in psychology, working with adults experiencing burnout, emotional overload and loss of internal stability. My work focuses on helping people understand what has happened beneath the surface and begin restoring balance in a way that feels realistic rather than idealised.

Practice description

I work integratively and adapt therapy to each individual, rather than applying a fixed structure.

Sessions often focus on burnout, chronic stress and nervous system exhaustion. Some clients describe anxiety-like symptoms, others emotional numbness, irritability or constant fatigue. Many speak about functioning well while feeling increasingly disconnected from themselves.

Under sustained pressure, coping strategies often narrow. For some people this includes food; for others it may be overworking, control, avoidance or never fully switching off. These patterns are not a personal failure, but a response to prolonged overload.

In therapy, we slow the process down. We explore triggers, pressure points and patterns, and work towards restoring regulation so coping no longer relies on strategies that leave you depleted.

I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy and work with adults online, including clients based in the SW11 area.

My first session

The first session is a space to talk through what has brought you to therapy and what feels most difficult right now. We will explore your current situation, any relevant background, and what you would like support with.

There is no assessment or pressure to share more than feels comfortable. The session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit.

The first session is charged at the standard rate.

You are also welcome to book a free 30-minute introductory Zoom session to see whether my approach feels right for you before committing to therapy.

Therapist - Cambridge

Availability

I offer face-to-face sessions in Central Cambridge as well as online, with a range of daytime, evening, and Saturday slots available. Please feel free to get in touch, and we can find a time that works for you.

About me and my therapy practice

You may feel as if you have no one to lean on. Stress keeps building, your body rarely fully relaxes, and by the evening your hands reach for the fridge, a drink, or anything that brings a few minutes of relief. The next morning everything starts again.

This is not a lack of willpower. It is what happens when the nervous system has been under constant pressure for too long.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience of how food can become a way of coping with stress, overwhelm and emotions that feel difficult to face. Many clients I work with struggle with emotional eating, binge patterns, anxiety and a strong need to stay in control, often after years of dieting, restriction or self-criticism.

Therapy offers a space to slow this cycle down and begin understanding what is really happening beneath it.

Practice description

I work integratively and at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Sessions focus on understanding patterns of anxiety, emotional regulation and coping, rather than trying to control behaviour through rules or pressure.

Together we explore triggers, habitual responses and the ways stress is held in the body. As awareness grows, the nervous system begins to settle, allowing new habits to form more naturally.

I support clients experiencing anxiety, emotional eating, binge behaviours, procrastination, relationship difficulties and long-term stress.

I am a qualified psychologist and counsellor, with an academic background in psychology and ongoing professional development in therapeutic practice.

I offer a free 30-minute Zoom call to help you decide if my approach feels right for you.

Therapist - Reading

Sessions from £70.00

Availability

I currently have space for new clients and work exclusively online with adults across the UK.

If you contact me, I will normally reply within few hours. Introductory Zoom calls are available so you can get a feel for how we might work together before making a commitment. Any planned breaks or time off will always be communicated well in advance to minimise disruption to your therapy.

About me and my therapy practice

You might be feeling trapped in a cycle you cannot seem to break: anxious, overwhelmed, comfort-eating at night, or stuck in binge and overeating patterns that leave you guilty and exhausted. I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults whose relationship with food, weight and body image has started to feel difficult, shameful or out of control, often alongside anxiety, stress, perfectionism or burnout.

Many of my clients tell me that despite trying diets, rules, motivation, discipline or self-help, nothing seems to stick long term, and the same patterns pull them back.

Together we explore not just what is happening but why, what keeps these cycles alive, and how you can finally feel calmer and more in charge of your life rather than driven by food or anxiety.

Practice description

I work with adults who are tired of quick fixes or advice that never really lands, and who are ready to explore something deeper and more meaningful.

Many describe high pressure at work or at home, feeling caught between wanting to change and not knowing how. Others come because anxiety, stress or relocation has unsettled the routines they have relied on for years.

Some are managing overeating or binge episodes, some are preoccupied with weight or body image, and others simply feel stuck or disconnected without knowing why. You do not need a diagnosis or a dramatic crisis to start therapy. If something feels heavy, confusing or persistent, that is enough.

My first session

All sessions take place online. I work with clients across the UK, including Cambridge, London, Reading, Bristol, Oxford, Hertfordshire and beyond.

First step

If you feel that this might be the right time to start, we can arrange a short introductory call. This is simply a conversation to help you get a sense of me and for us both to decide whether the fit feels right. There is no obligation to continue if it does not feel comfortable.

Availability

I currently offer online sessions with availability during the daytime, evenings and Saturdays.

Sessions are arranged at times that work best for you where possible.

About me and my therapy practice

You may appear to be coping well, yet feel quietly exhausted underneath. Life is busy, full, productive and still something feels out of sync. You move through your days efficiently, but with little sense of ease.

This kind of fatigue often builds slowly. Long-term responsibility, high expectations and limited emotional space can leave the nervous system operating in constant alert. Over time, it becomes difficult to rest, reflect or feel connected to yourself.

I am a qualified counsellor with a background in psychology, supporting adults who feel stuck in this state of ongoing pressure. My work focuses on helping people regain internal stability and understand the patterns that have developed over time.

Practice description

I work integratively and tailor the therapy to each client鈥檚 needs, pace and capacity.

Sessions often explore burnout, chronic stress, emotional disconnection and the sense of living on autopilot. Some people feel numb or flat; others feel restless, frustrated or unable to relax. Many describe feeling capable on the surface but depleted underneath.

When pressure accumulates, people naturally turn to coping behaviours. This may involve food, work, staying constantly busy or avoiding stillness. While the forms differ, the underlying process is often the same - an attempt to regulate when resources are low.

Therapy offers space to understand these patterns and gradually rebuild capacity, allowing change to emerge without force or self-criticism.

I work with adults online and offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, including for clients based in the W4 area.

Therapist - St. Albans

St. Albans AL1

Sessions from £70.00

  • Flexible hours available

Availability

I work online and offer a mix of daytime, evening and Saturday sessions.

You鈥檙e welcome to get in touch and we can see what might fit.

About me and my therapy practice

You may feel tired in a way that sleep does not fix. Nothing dramatic has happened, yet something feels off. You keep going, get things done, hold life together, but it costs more than it used to.

Pressure builds quietly. Weeks turn into months. You adapt, push through, stay responsible. At some point the body stops switching off. Your mind keeps running. You are not falling apart, just slowly wearing down.

I am a qualified counsellor with a background in psychology, working with adults who feel exhausted, overstretched or out of balance. My work is about slowing things down enough to notice what has been happening underneath.

Practice description

I work integratively and shape the work around each person, rather than following a fixed model.

Sessions often revolve around burnout and long-term stress. Some people feel numb. Others feel restless or on edge. Many describe living on autopilot: doing what needs to be done while feeling strangely absent from their own life.

Under pressure, we all find ways to cope. For some it is food. For others it is work, control, staying busy all the time, or avoiding stillness altogether. Different behaviours with the same attempt trying to get through when there is not much left in reserve.

Together we look at these patterns without forcing change. As understanding grows and the system settles, capacity often begins to return. From there, things can start to shift naturally.

I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy and work with adults online, including clients based in the St Albans area.

Availability

I currently have space for new clients and work exclusively online with adults across the UK.

Sessions are held weekdays with some evening availability, and I aim to offer a regular weekly slot that supports consistency and momentum.

If you contact me, I will normally reply within few hours.

Introductory calls are available so you can get a feel for how we might work together before making a commitment.

Any planned breaks or time off will always be communicated well in advance to minimise disruption to your therapy.

About me and my therapy practice

You may be feeling caught in a loop you cannot break: anxious and overwhelmed, eating for comfort late in the evening, or finding yourself in binge or overeating cycles that leave you frustrated, ashamed or exhausted. I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults whose relationship with food, weight and body image has begun to feel consuming or out of control, often alongside anxiety, stress, perfectionism or an internal drive to cope and keep going.

Many clients arrive having tried diets, rules, willpower or behaviour tracking, only to find that nothing holds for long and familiar patterns return. Others seek therapy not because of food alone, but because life pressures: work, family demands, relocation, loneliness, burnout have shifted their coping and left them feeling disconnected from themselves. You do not need to meet criteria or have a 鈥渂ig鈥 story to start; many people come simply because something feels heavy, persistent or confusing.

My practice is fully online, which allows us to work together from the privacy and comfort of your own space.

Rather than forcing change, we explore what drives these patterns, what they protect, and what might allow you to feel calmer, more grounded and more in choice.

Therapy becomes a space to understand your emotional world, make sense of your relationship with food and your body, and develop steadier ways of coping so that life feels less ruled by anxiety, pressure or eating habits and more like something you are actively shaping.

Practice description

My practice focuses on helping adults make sense of anxiety, emotional and binge eating, overeating, and the complicated relationship many of us develop with food, weight and body image.

I work online with people who often appear capable, high-functioning and in control on the outside, but privately feel overwhelmed, exhausted or caught in patterns they cannot shift. Whether the struggle is eating to soothe stress, feeling ashamed after binges, thinking constantly about food and weight, or managing perfectionism, burnout or big life changes, therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what is happening and build steadier ways of coping.

My approach brings together psychological knowledge, warmth and lived experience so that change feels safe, sustainable and grounded in who you are rather than who you think you 鈥渟hould鈥 be.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy now. I will invite you to share as much or as little as feels comfortable about your current concerns - whether they relate to anxiety, eating patterns, body image, stress or something harder to name. Together, we begin to map what is going on in your life, what you want to change, and what support might look like for you.

There is no expectation to have everything figured out or to tell your whole story at once. You set the pace. My role in that first hour is to listen, to understand, and to help you feel grounded enough to decide whether continuing feels like the right step for you. If we choose to work together, we will go slowly, stay curious, and build a rhythm that supports meaningful and lasting change.
