About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Scott.
I am a qualified counsellor supporting adults, older adults and young people experiencing anxiety, depression, anger and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients seek support when their usual ways of coping no longer feel sustainable.
You may feel overwhelmed, low in mood, easily irritated, or stuck in patterns that seem hard to change. Outwardly, you might still be managing work, family or responsibilities, while privately feeling unsettled or exhausted. I offer a calm, respectful and collaborative space where we can explore what is happening and work towards greater clarity and emotional steadiness.
Alongside private practice, I have experience supporting vulnerable adults, carers, people in recovery from addiction, and asylum seekers navigating displacement and cultural transition. This has shaped my understanding of trauma, prolonged stress and resilience. Clients often describe me as steady, grounded and easy to talk to.
What I Can Help With
I regularly work with:
Anxiety and persistent worry
Depression and low mood
Anger and emotional regulation difficulties
Family conflict and relationship strain
Trauma-related difficulties
Addiction and recovery
Carer stress and burnout
Cultural transition and identity challenges
Low self-esteem and self-critical thinking
If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you, you are welcome to get in touch.
