Availability
I currently have availability for new clients both in person in Frome and online across the UK. My hours are flexible, offering sessions on weekdays and Sundays, including daytime and evening appointments.
I can work with you on a weekly basis, which many people find helps build consistency and momentum, or on a fortnightly schedule if that suits your circumstances better. My approach is to find a rhythm that feels supportive but manageable within your life.
If you’re unsure about scheduling, we can explore together what might fit best.
About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes, life throws things at us that feel too much to face alone. Perhaps you’re feeling stuck or simply exhausted, carrying it all. You may be seeking to better make sense of intense or confusing emotional reactions and to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and anxieties. Together we can explore what’s happening and begin to make sense of it, and with greater understanding, you can start setting clearer boundaries, connect more fully with others, and make choices that feel aligned with who you are.
I’m an integrative therapist based in Frome, Somerset. If you’re not local to Somerset, I also offer online sessions to clients across the UK. I provide a space where you can be yourself when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, where your thoughts can surface and be explored without judgment, where every aspect of your experience is welcomed and new insights and possibilities can emerge.
I’ve worked with people from many backgrounds and stages of life, from young adults exploring identity to those navigating loss, life transitions or long-held emotional patterns.
Practice description
My training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy and somatic approaches. Depending on your needs, we may use tools such as guided visualisation, dream exploration or body-based awareness. Underpinning all of this is the therapeutic relationship itself, which I see as the foundation for real change.
I’m committed to ongoing professional development. In 2024, I attended Europe’s largest trauma and mental health conference, with workshops led by Bessel van der Kolk and Gabor Maté. My practice is also informed by approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, Focusing and Transactional Analysis.
I’ve worked with young people and adults across private practice, schools and charitable organisations. I currently run my own practice and have previously worked with Place2Be and Brent Bereavement Service, where I also served as a trustee.
My first session
Sessions are usually 50 minutes, and I offer both short-term work (around 12 weeks) and longer-term, open-ended therapy. A free 20-minute introductory call is available so you can get a sense of whether I’m the right counsellor for you before committing.
