About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred counsellor, offering online counselling sessions across the UK and face-to-face therapy in Lincoln. I provide a calm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard.
I work with adults and teenagers experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:
- Anxiety counselling and support for panic attacks, OCD, feelings of overwhelm
- Depression therapy, low mood and support for stress
- Eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image difficulties
- Life transitions, career or mid-life changes
- Parenting, family, and relationship challenges
- Neurodiversity and executive function support and emotional regulation (which can help with ADHD and Autism)
Whatever has brought you to counselling — anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, stress, a mid-life transition, or something you can’t quite put into words — our work together will move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
My aim is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, process difficult thoughts and emotions, and develop ways of coping that support your overall wellbeing. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe you are the expert in your own life. I won’t tell you what to think or do; instead, I will listen with empathy, respect, and curiosity, supporting you to explore your experiences in a way that feels safe and empowering.
Although my core approach is person-centred, I work integratively, drawing on evidence-based theories and techniques to suit your individual needs. This may involve exploring past experiences to better understand patterns in the present, or using practical tools to help you cope with what you’re facing right now. Rather than working from one rigid model, I adapt my approach to you — because therapy should fit the person, not the other way around.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space for teenagers and adults, working in person in Lincoln and online. I tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that everyone’s experiences and needs are unique.
I support clients with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, depression and low mood, self-esteem and confidence issues, anger, body image concerns, family and relationship challenges, life transitions and mid-life changes, and neurodiversity-related experiences, including emotional regulation and executive functioning difficulties associated with ADHD and Autism.
My integrative approach draws on person-centred counselling, CBT, DBT, psychotherapy, and creative approaches, allowing flexibility in how we work together. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and supported to develop insight, coping strategies, and greater emotional wellbeing.
