About me and my therapy practice

Hi and welcome, I'm Iga (she/her),

I'm so glad you found your way here.

鈥婭 specialise in supporting clients who are stuck in survival mode - constantly overwhelmed, anxious, and burnt out, even though they often appear to be coping well from the outside.

My clients often struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the relentless pressure to keep it all together.

ARE YOU?

  • Constantly overwhelmed and anxious even by everyday tasks?
  • Always 鈥渙n autopilot,鈥 feeling emotionally drained or numb inside?
  • Getting overwhelmed by intense emotions that seem to come out of nowhere?
  • Struggling with low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, or never feeling 鈥済ood enough鈥?
  • Using distractions, busyness, or unhealthy habits to avoid what鈥檚 really going on inside?
  • Feeling stuck in a cycle of just getting through the day, and longing to feel more grounded and in control?

If any of this sounds familiar, let鈥檚 talk. I鈥檇 love to help.

Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, exhale, and talk safely about the hard stuff. We鈥檒l explore what鈥檚 been weighing you down, make sense of the patterns you鈥檝e been stuck in, you'll learn practical ways to soothe your nervous system effectively and find new ways of coping that actually support you.

My approach is down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I鈥檒l meet you where you are - with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. Together, we鈥檒l gently explore what鈥檚 keeping you stuck and help you build the safety, confidence and work towards helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life - not just surviving, but genuinely living.

I offer 1:1 online therapy for adults 18+. With online sessions, you can skip the hassle of commuting, parking, and accessibility concerns. Instead, you can relax in the comfort of your own space, enjoying a warm drink and settling into your favourite spot at home.

Practice description

I have an experience working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent. Many of my clients identify as perfectionists or people pleasers, often feeling anxious, burnt out, or stuck in survival mode.

I am trauma-informed therapist, I work with an understanding of how past experiences shape present struggles, ensuring therapy feels safe, empowering and supportive.

My personal experience navigating different countries and cultures gives me a deeper understanding of the complexities that can come with adjusting to new environments and navigating challenges related to identity and belonging.

In addition to my private practice, I've been volunteering as a bereavement counsellor at St. Michael's Hospice (St Leonards on Sea) between 2022-2025. This experience has provided me with specialised training and a deep understanding of grief, loss and its complexities.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to create a personalised plan that best supports your unique needs. This may include elements from Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, CBT, Creative Therapy, and IFS.

While these terms might sound confusing to you, what matters most is that we will work collaboratively to provide a holistic and tailored approach to your growth and healing journey.
