About me and my therapy practice
I’m a registered Counselling Psychologist and Gestalt Psychotherapist. Drawing on my training, I work integratively, drawing on a range of techniques from various approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. At the heart of my practice is the belief that we are shaped by our relationships and that healing occurs through connection and collaboration. As such, my style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centred, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a safe, trusting, and authentic therapeutic relationship.
I’m especially passionate about working with individuals and families and helping adults and young people to reconnect with their inner voice, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I work alongside my clients to explore their experiences and develop coping strategies that support long-term wellbeing.
I have experience supporting individuals from 9 to 99 years old addressing a range of life challenges. These may include adults facing work- and family-related stress, anxiety, low mood, and burnout, or those navigating significant life transitions such as migration, career changes, new parenthood, divorce, and complex or unhealthy relationship dynamics. A key part of my work involves supporting individuals processing trauma, including intergenerational trauma and the lasting effects of adverse experiences.

Practice description
Sessions are collaborative and led by you. Some clients come with a clear idea of what they want to work on; others are unsure, but know something does not feel right or are willing to experience therapy. We’ll start by exploring what’s bringing you to therapy, and move at a pace that feels right for you. You won’t be expected to fit into a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor my approach to suit your needs, drawing from a range of psychological theories and practices to support your growth.
My work is grounded in the belief that therapy aims to increase self-awareness, support build healthy relationships with yourself and others, leading to living in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling for yourself. All are welcome.
Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or looking to better understand yourself, I believe therapy can offer a valuable space for reflection and change.
My first session
Choosing the right therapist for you is an important decision, and it is essential to feel confident in your choice.
To support you in this process, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. During this call, I’ll explain how my services work and answer any questions you may have. This is an opportunity for you to decide if you would like to move forward with therapy, with no commitment or cost at this stage.
If you choose to begin therapy, before we begin, I will send you a few forms to complete. These will cover practical details and ensure that your safety and specific needs are a priority in our work together. During our first sessions we will focus on understanding your background and the challenges you are currently facing as well as discussing your goals for therapy. I will also address any additional questions you may have about how we will work together and the therapeutic process.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s important to find a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. In our sessions, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you will have the opportunity to explore different parts of yourself, reflect on your experiences, and increase awareness into your patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. You will lead your therapeutic journey at a pace that feels right for you and together, we’ll work towards helping you feel connected to your unique, authentic self.
