About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创-registered Humanistic Integrative Counsellor based in Lewes, East Sussex, offering in-person counselling in Brighton & Hove alongside online therapy across the UK and Europe.
I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Many of the people I see are also navigating questions of identity, direction, or a sense of feeling unsettled in themselves or their lives.
A significant part of my work is with people whose lives are shaped by movement between places, cultures or countries. Living away from your country of origin, or between cultural contexts, can bring both opportunity and a sense of disconnection or uncertainty around belonging. I offer a space where these experiences can be explored with care and without pressure to explain them in a 鈥渇ixed鈥 way.
I also speak German and offer sessions in English. I aim to provide a steady, non-judgemental space where you can express yourself at your own pace, in whatever way feels most natural for you.
My approach is relational and collaborative. I don鈥檛 view people as broken or needing to be fixed, but as responding in understandable ways to what they have lived through. In our work, we slow things down and gently explore what is happening beneath the surface, with curiosity rather than judgement.
Therapy can support greater self-understanding, emotional clarity and choice, particularly during periods of change or uncertainty.
Practice description
In-person counselling is available in Brighton & Hove, alongside my practice in Lewes and online therapy for clients across the UK and Europe.
Online work can be particularly helpful for people living between places, travelling regularly, or those who prefer the flexibility and privacy of remote sessions.
I offer a calm, steady therapeutic space where experiences can be explored with care and respect. This can be especially supportive during times of transition, identity exploration, or when life feels fragmented or in flux.
Sessions are usually weekly and can be short-term or open-ended. We review together as we go to ensure the work continues to feel helpful and relevant to your needs.

About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 Daniela Weetman, a 麻豆原创-registered Humanistic Integrative Counsellor based in Lewes, East Sussex (BN7 / BN8). I offer in-person counselling in Lewes and online therapy across the UK and Europe.
Many people I work with come to therapy feeling emotionally tired, overwhelmed, or as though they have been holding things together for a long time. Often there is a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure how to move forward.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, identity shifts, relationship difficulties, and the impact of stress or burnout 鈥 sometimes alongside experiences of living away from home or between cultures.
My approach is warm, steady and gently attuned. Therapy offers a space to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out. If you鈥檇 like to explore whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 30-minute introductory call.
I also speak German and welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Practice description
Sessions take place in calm, welcoming counselling rooms in Lewes (BN7 / BN8).
My approach is humanistic and integrative, drawing from Person-Centred, Gestalt, Existential and parts-informed ways of working. Rather than focusing on what is 鈥渨rong鈥, I aim to support you in feeling more understood, more grounded, and more connected to your own inner resources.
I work with adults on both short- and longer-term bases around anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma-related experiences, emotional regulation, relational difficulties, life transitions, loss, and inner-critic patterns. My way of working is collaborative, reflective and compassionate, with attention to pace, emotional safety and sustainable change.
My first session
In our first session, we take time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what feels most important right now. We will look at what you are hoping for, what support might feel helpful, and any questions or uncertainties you may have.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. We go at a pace that feels manageable for you. My intention is to offer a steady, attuned space where you don鈥檛 have to hold everything alone, and where your experience can be met with care rather than judgement. From there, we usually meet weekly and review together as we go.

About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创-registered Humanistic Integrative Counsellor offering online therapy to adults across the UK and Europe, including expats and people living between cultures.
Many people seek online therapy when they are living abroad, have moved away from home, or are navigating life across different countries or cultural contexts. Alongside opportunity and growth, these experiences can bring quieter forms of loss 鈥 questions of belonging, identity shifts, loneliness, or a sense of feeling emotionally unrooted.
I work with people who are navigating anxiety, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, identity questions and significant life transitions, often alongside the experience of living between worlds.
Alongside my professional training, my own experience of growing up in one country and making a life in another informs how I listen and work. Sessions are offered in English. I also speak German, which some clients find helpful when reflecting on cultural background, identity, or experiences of living between countries. I aim to provide a steady, non-judgemental space where you don鈥檛 have to explain or justify your experiences, and where you鈥檙e welcome to express yourself in the ways that feel right for you.
Therapy with me isn鈥檛 about fixing you or getting things 鈥渞ight鈥, but about understanding how your feelings and patterns make sense in the context of your life.
Practice description
Online sessions take place via secure video and offer flexibility if you live abroad, move between countries, or prefer the privacy and familiarity of working from your own space.
Many people find online therapy particularly supportive when living internationally, as it offers continuity and a steady point of connection across distance.
My approach is warm, relational and collaborative. We slow things down and gently explore what鈥檚 happening beneath the surface, with curiosity rather than judgement or pressure to change. This way of working supports greater awareness, compassion and choice, particularly during times of transition or when life feels unsettled.
Sessions are usually weekly and can be short-term or open-ended. We review the work together as we go, so therapy continues to feel meaningful and relevant to what you need.
