About me and my therapy practice
Welcome
It can be difficult to navigate life's challenges on your own. Having a safe, confidential space for you to talk can be the first step towards making positive, lasting changes in your life.
I am a fully qualified therapist and counsellor, working in an integrative-relational way. This means I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to support you and meet your unique needs.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked in a number of agencies and counselling settings. This has allowed me to gain extensive experience supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, including grief and loss, life transitions, traumatic experiences, eating disorders, identity and sexuality issues, anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment difficulties, and work problems. Some clients have come to counselling without a specific concern in mind, but rather with a general sense that something does not feel quite right.
Living and working in other countries across Europe and Latin America has further enriched my social and cultural perspective, deepening my commitment to creating a welcoming space for people from all walks of life.
Practice description
I work with clients online or in-person at one of my two consulting rooms: Streatham Hill (SW2) and Battersea (SW11). I also provide walk-and-talk therapy in the natural, green surroundings of Tooting Bec Common (SW12), creating a restorative environment for our sessions.
I offer a supportive therapeutic relationship where you can experience safety and acceptance. Together, we will create a reflective space in which you can explore what troubles you - a space where all your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are welcome.
We might seek to better understand the relationship between past and present, your wishes, losses, hopes, and fears. In this way, we can work towards a happier, healthier way of being with yourself and others in the world.
Our work together is collaborative, giving you space to choose the pace of the sessions and what you would like to explore.
When words do not feel enough, we might also work creatively - using a sand tray, stones, postcards, drawing, or visualisation - to express your experience in different ways.
My first session
If you are interested in starting therapy, we can schedule a 50-minute consultation. During this session, we will take time to discuss your current situation, your reasons for seeking counselling, and whether my approach aligns with what you are looking for.
The initial consultation is charged at £45.
For clients who are unable to afford my full fee, I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces – please enquire if this applies to you.
