About me and my therapy practice
Holding everything together on the outside can feel exhausting when, inside, things feel overwhelming. You might be struggling with difficult relationships, memories from the past, or a sense of not really knowing who you are. Perhaps anger, shame, or anxiety feel close to the surface, or you’re caught in patterns that you can’t seem to shift. Therapy offers a space where you don’t have to manage it all alone.
I am a qualified person-centred therapist and registered member of the Â鶹Դ´. I work with adults in Clapham (SW4) and online, offering a supportive, confidential space to talk openly and at your own pace.
My approach is grounded in the belief that real change happens when you feel heard, accepted, and understood. Together, we can explore what’s going on for you, make sense of past experiences, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including a women’s health centre, an addiction recovery agency, and a secondary school, which has given me rich and varied experience working with a wide range of issues.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in theatre, and I bring a deep appreciation for creativity, stories, and the many different ways people find meaning in their lives.
Practice description
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. If I think a different approach might be more useful, I’ll let you know and can suggest other options or services that could better suit your needs.
If you decide you would like to work with me, we will mutually agree on a time for weekly, 50-minute sessions either in-person or online.
My first session
The first session is where we begin to get to know each other and start understanding what feels most important for you to work through. It’s a time to explore what’s brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and to make sure you feel safe and supported in the process.
From there, we will confirm our weekly sessions.
